MIDA is a South End neighborhood restaurant, inspired by the simplicity of classic Italian dishes . Our menu focuses on many regions of traditional Italian food and culture, using fresh, seasonal ingredients.

Dinner is served Monday - Thursday, and Sundays from 4:00 PM - 10:00 PM and Friday and Saturday from 4:00 PM - 11:00 PM.
Brunch is served Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 AM - 3:30 PM.

Patio reservations are available on a same day first come basis only. Please call the restaurant to secure patio seating. Patio availability is dependent on weather. Walk-ins are always welcome.

                                      Great meal outdoors. The carrots were the best part. Not a particularly generous portion of pasta for the price, but still well worth it for the flavor.

                                      Pasta dishes are amazing and generous portions, great wine, good service! The mushroom pappardelle was incredible. Great ambiance inside and outside.

                                      I really want to like Mida, but it continues to disappoint. My friends and I were looking forward to a Friday night dinner and arrived fairly early. At the time, there were only a few occupied tables, yet service was surprisingly slow from the start. Throughout the meal, our server never checked in on us, refilled our water, asked how everything was, or offered additional assistance. She seemed indifferent and unfriendly, which made the experience feel unwelcoming. Unfortunately, it wasn't just our server. To be honest, every staff member appeared unhappy to be there. I dine out for the overall experience, and at an Italian restaurant, I expect a sense of warmth and hospitality. Instead, the atmosphere felt cold and disengaged. The kitchen is visible from the dining room, and even the staff working there seemed miserable. It's disappointing because the South End used to be one of the best dining neighborhoods in Boston, and experiences like this make it feel as though things have declined. I hope management takes this feedback seriously. There is clearly potential here.

                                      Mida is one of the best restaurants in Boston. Interesting, nuanced, and complex dishes. The wine selection is expansive. Fantastic, unassuming and warm atmosphere, with excellent service. I also appreciated that we were not rushed which made Mida a wonderful place to reconnect with an old friend for many hours. Thank you!
