Somos una sala de degustación de Mezcal llevamos 2 años creando experiencias, nos enfocamos principalmente en la historia detrás del mezcal, es una pequeña inducción a todo lo que representa el mezcal en Oaxaca, nuestra cata va desde el proceso, el sabor y la relevancia cultural

la cata consta de degustar 12 mezcales, botana para limpiar el paladar y una anfitriona que no solo es maestra mezcalera, si no que también tiene mas de 12 años en la industria y que en cada una de sus catas deja el corazón de Oaxaca en cada de las personas que nos visitan

Isabel was extremely knowledgeable, friendly & helpful. We learned much about the process & history of Mezcal. We are very grateful we discovered Gűl-Roo & Isabel. You won't be disappointed!

My husband & I are from Toronto Canada, we were fortunate to share our tasting experience with 2 other couples, from Australia, & Germany. Our hostess Isabel was VERY educated & articulated the process for the creation of tasty GUL-ROO Mezcals (along with generous 12 Mezcal samples) 😋. As each couple was celebrating either a birthday or an anniversary, the owners Leonor & Alfredo along with their sons Samuel and Alex went above and beyond , celebrated couples special day with delicious cakes with sparklers 💥!! A fabulous Mezcal cocktail created by Alex , AND of course a mariachi band that entertained us all 🎺🎶🎉. I highly recommend Gul-Roo to anyone looking for a FUN & EDUCATIONAL Mezcal tasting event 🇲🇽🌵💖

This was a really great introduction to all things Mezcal. We had Isabelle who was great at talking us through the processes for creating the different kinds of drink and was keen to ensure we got plenty of tasting experience too! Really good fun and great value for money.

A wonderfully illuminating experience where we learned about the wide variety of techniques for producing mezcal and the many flavors that can result. Leonor's pride in her family's product is evident, and it comes through in the beautiful mezcals they serve.

This was such a wonderful experience! This is a true family business, and mom/dad/and son were all in attendance. We were the only people in the tasting, and so it really felt like we were just tasting Mezcal with this lovely family having us over. They were friendly, knowledgeable, warm, and passionate! I would very much recommend this!

We tried 12 different mezcals, all really nice. Isabel knew all about the different varieties. It was a very informative session

If you like mezcal or are even curious about it, you have to do this experience! You get to taste a ton (over 10) of artesenal mezcals made by a family who has been making these for over 3 generations. I like mezcal and can attest these are excellent quality. Leonore was amazing and the sweetest person. 10/10 recommend!
