Mestizo, Mexican Restaurant opened in March 2005 and was the first to bring authentic Mexican cuisine back to London. It is a stylish, elegant restaurant serving traditional cuisine. With Mexican owners, chefs and staff, we are perhaps London’s most authentic Mexican restaurant. Our elegant bar, displaying over 260+ tequila & mezcal. It is the largest Tequila bar in the UK. Our Mexican Sunday Buffet Brunch is our chef's special day. All buffet style with a large selection of traditional Mexican dishes each Sunday. Our separate ‘DOWNSTAIRS’ at Mestizo lounge bar, provides a different atmosphere and can be used for cocktail parties, product launches, dining and corporate or private occasions. For all groups over 8 people we ask for a cc number to confirm. For CHristmas bookings we require a deposit of £5.00 per person before the reservation is confirmed. Our Mexican Thursday (Jueves Mexicano) is a popular weekly gathering of the younger Mexicans in London. From 7pm with a £5.00 cover.

Queso fundido- it had 5 warm tortillas and the cheese was so gooey and delicious! Definitely recommend the classic! It was cheaper overall to grab a taco tray which had the option of 4 different fillings and made to share with 2 people or more. These were the 4 our tray: • barbacoa - quite nice with some lime and onions •carnitas - same as above • pollo con mole- the best one on the tray with a small bit of sour cream •pastor- great with salsa verde, onions, jalapeños. It was worth it for 2 people! Would’ve been sexier with a habanero sauce/ salsa. Overall would recommend. Especially on special occasions

Heard great things about Mestizo and wanted to give it a try. Thought the service was awful - extremely rushed and constant grabbing of plates. The food was luke warm and came out less than 5 mins after ordering, which made us feel really uncomfortable. Wouldn’t recommend!

I went for first time to mestizo (I was recommended) and it was a really good experience! We took the recommendations from Vicente and everything he recommended us was really nice. We had a nice lunch and enjoyed our time at mestizo! We definitely be back 😊 thanks Vicente!

A lovely team serving up quality, authentic Mexican food! As a Londoner, I’ve searched high and low for the proper stuff, it’s hard to find. This is the jackpot! The Sunday buffet is also incredible. So much fun at this little restaurant!

Mestizo is consistently fantastic - delicious food, excellent service that is fast and efficient, and a great ambiance. We dine at Mestizo frequently and it is the best Mexican food I have found in London (and I’ve lived in Mexico and am Latina, so have high standards when it comes to Latin American cuisine). Highly recommend Mestizo for any occasion.

I had a fantastic experience at Mestizo in London. The food was absolutely delicious - authentic and full of flavor. I loved the fresh ingredients and the attention to detail in each dish. The service was also excellent, with the staff being friendly and attentive. The atmosphere of the restaurant was great, with a lively and fun vibe that added to the overall experience. I feel we may not have given the food justice as the sharing dishes look like the heroes here but because my group have a weird set of dietary needs and likes/dislikes sharing was tricky so we ordered mains, which were nice, but we weren't blown away. The deserts however were heavenly. Will try again with a less fussy group of friends! Attentive service.

We went here to celebrate a birthday. It is an outstanding restaurant with authentic Mexican food. The waiters and all the staff we’ve met were friendly and attentive. Answered all of our questions and made sure that we aren’t allergic to anything. The restaurant has a Tequila Bar in the same space and their cocktails, mocktails are the best I had in London. I highly recommend it to anyone who want to have a special, authentic culinary experience!

Mestizo is without a doubt my favourite restaurant in London. The service is super friendly and attentive and the restaurant has an overall family-run business feel (although I’m not sure if it actually is). The food is delicious and full of flavour and the cocktails are perfect. We ordered the taco tray which was more filling than expected and also came with free refills of the sides. I would without a doubt recommend dining here for your next occasion or just for a casual dinner.

We loved the ambience and food. We were ina corner table and the service was a little slow at times. I would say some items (eg tequila/mezcal shots) were a little overpriced. Overall though, a great time had by all!

We love this restaurant. An authentic Mexican as opposed to Tex Mex with an extensive menu. The food is delicious and the service friendly. There is always a lovely vibe. My only slight complaint is that the portions are a little on the small side, although the desserts were very generous.

Very good meal and very friendly and attentive service. The cocktails were great, and the food was delicious. Only reasons for not giving five stars is that it was quite noisy (not the restaurant's problem of course and a reflection of their popularity) and although the food was very good, I have had even better Mexican food elsewhere. But I'd very happily go again - and as I travel via Euston a lot, it's perfectly placed.

Did request a quiet table and a congratulations dessert for my mrs new job role. Food was cold, everything felt re heated. The people was nice but quality of food wasn’t as high as they say on their reviews Sorry

Great ambience, good food and even better margaritas. It's just a shame that the staff were so keen for us to leave. We were asked to order almost immediately after being seated and hounded out because they apparently needed the table, even though there were many empty spaces and we were far from the last diners around.
