              We ate there 2 nights the food was so good. It’s on the edge of town and well worth the walk!

              Sitting outside in the garden set the scene for a beautiful evening on a sunny and warm Bar Harbor day. We had the Seafood Risotto and Halibut special. The fish and seafood were all cooked perfectly. The blueberry pie and sticky toffee pudding for desert were wonderful. The restaurant is expensive but for the ambience and quality of the food it was worth it.

              Service was great! The food was outstanding! The lobster Mac and Cheese is a must. Halibut was delicious with a great presentation

              Food was delicious. The kids enjoyed their kids meal, and the portion sizes were appropriate. Our server was fantastic! She was one of the best servers we had of all the places we went to in Bar Harbor.

              We had a great experience at McKay’s. Great food, attentive and friendly service, charming atmosphere. We wound up here kind of last minute with a party of eight and I’m glad we did!

              Lovely evening dining al fresco at McKay’s for the two of us. Our server Hanna, who was from the area, was excellent, attentive, and generous with her attention and sharing local knowledge. Our food was terrific, sharing a beet salad, lobster mac and cheese and the blueberry pie, with Maine IPA and nice Friuli Pinot Grigio.
