The Mangiare Story
We trace our roots to Republic Chophouse, Green Bay area’s premier steakhouse and standard bearer of fine dining in northeast Wisconsin. Located just down the street from each other and under the same local ownership, Mangiare and Republic are sister restaurants that offer the best dining experiences north of Chicago.

We use only the freshest and most authentic ingredients for the offerings on our Mangiare menu. Featuring balsamic and oils sourced directly from Italy and breads from specialty bakeries, our chefs create intensely satisfying dishes that match the level of service which sets us apart.

Our attention to detail and commitment to excellence holds true regardless of whether your taste for the evening is classic Italian fare in a family-friendly atmosphere at Mangiare or steak in the unpretentious, yet fine dining environment of Republic.

Everything is basically ala carte. Kyra was fantastic as a server: kept our water glasses filled, checked on our table frequently, and always a smile. A real keeper. The only blemish was a whiskey sweet was ordered and an old fashion was served.

We had the Buratta, Arancini, Roasted Carrots and Oyster Mushroom Risotto. The bread service was terrific, served with excellent olive oil and Parmesan. I could’ve eaten a gallon of the risotto; so flavorful and cooked perfectly. My Mom loved the Arancini. Our server Brian was a delight! The space was relaxed and chill; we’ll definitely be back!

Outstanding authentic Italian dishes. Great food, the service was outstanding and very intimate atmosphere. Can't wait to go back.

Horrible experience! Host was rude, waitress was rude, service was slow, food was mid (I usually always give 5 stars but this was sooo disappointing)

That it was weird to hear Mexican music in an Italian restaurant... the risotto was heavy on the mushroom, the soup was really salty, the fish was really buttery, and the salad was good but weird that it had meat in it... overall a good experience but the choices and taste wasn't for us. we'll be heading back to republic chop house for our next meal :-) love that one much better.

This was the best place to celebrate our anniversary. The service was fantastic- extremely helpful and observant. We dined here once before and chose Mangiare because of our comments described above.

This place is an absolute favorite! I visited almost four nights in a row. I was short on time, but I’m so glad I found this gem! I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the area. Our waitress was very attentive and nice. The hostess was very charming to us!
