   Abbiamo ricevuto un tavolo molto brutto, abbiamo chiesto se potevamo cambiarlo e dopo tanto tempo é stato possibile…( il locale era mezzo vuoto ). Il servizio non era il solito servizio che conosciamo…la cameriera era concentrata sulla sua bellezza e non sui clienti 👎

   Molto comodo per noi che soggiornavamo al Moxy Hotel che si trova sotto il rooftop. Atmosfera magica è molto buone anche le proposte della cucina. Da consigliare!

   This is the most lackluster rooftop bar I’ve ever been to in NY. It looks nothing like what you see in pictures. The drinks are just ok to be that overpriced and the ambiance was lacking. And the “mini golf course” if you can even call it that was literally full of nothingness. The cups that the cocktails come in are plastic and one side of the bar is covered up so if you wanted to take pictures, they would include half skyline and half plexiglass. Don’t waste your time or money — so disappointing.

   The place was nice and full but not crowded our waitress was attentive a d the food was warm not hot but flavorful, the drinks packed a punch and the music was not too loud overall we enjoyed every minute at this place ...we had 2 hours to enjoy everything and had a great time.

   Not many menu options. Only ordered fries and it literally took over 40 minutes! But atleast they were hot. The drink menu is limited as well, one of those overhyped tik tok places. It’s cute for pics but that’s about it. Wouldn’t come back again.

    Of course I found this place on Instagram. It looks so much bigger in videos and post. This rooftop is very small and nothing spectacular, the pink sculptures really need to cleaned or repainted. I wish they offered bigger plate options aside from finger foods. I order mocktails and they were delicious, however my group of friends & I had 3 different servers from the time we sat down. They rarely came around to check on us, which ultimately made us have to go the bar ourselves for drink. I had the worst experience at the bar. My friends and I had a reservation, when I went to the bar to order my drink the bartender had a nasty attitude (he barely spoke English), but we weren’t aware you had to open a tab at the bar, or pay for your drink immediately. I think that’s dumb as hell, why can’t you put it on the table tab? I wouldn’t have minded opening a bar tab, but his disgusting personality turned me off. I also don’t think a mocktail should be the same price as a regular cocktail. I’m paying for soda and grenadine! I know I won’t be back to this establishment, and won’t recommend anyone.

    12 friends flew in from CA to celebrate my birthday. Upon arriving about 10:45pm we got seated and pitch a bottle at over 575.00 to celebrate. Took about 15 mins or more get the bottle delivered so let’s say 11pm now only to be told last call and we needed to close up shop in 45 mins wtf. We ordered a bucket in beers and entire 5th of vodka no way we could finish all this in less than a hour. I guess the point is don’t sell this much alcohol if your closing up soon or at least let your patron know as it became very uncomfortable to try and finish this amount of alcohol in such a short time . Do better this is not what we expected when planning our first night in New York .

    Uncomfortable, terrible food selection, so expensive for frozen chicken strips. How do you do guacamole wrong. Also, it was confusing, irritating, and too much money. Skip it.

    Ambiance & a unique atmosphere is what Magic Hour has to offer. Service is hit & miss; it depends on who is serving. All too often the server takes an excessive amount of time to even take a drink order. Personalities vary greatly! Some servers are a delight to interact with, others show little personality. The music should come down to just background level. While I was there it felt like MH was going for the club scene, though it really isn't a dance place. The drinks are too expensive.

    Awful! The pink pancakes were so dry and had noooo taste and…. I don’t know how it’s possible to ruin cotton candy, but they did. How is it possible? Don’t waste your money for a photo op, not worth it.

    Terrible place, would never go back!!! it was my birthday and I thought it would be a good experience, the place itself is super beautiful. but, they put us at a terrible table, in an isolated part. The food was terrible too, we ordered some mini hamburgers, but the meat in the hamburger tasted like it was of very poor quality. And finally, the service was also bad. I think they are very used to serving only tourists and are not concerned with providing good service or retaining their customers. It was a bad choice for my birthday night out.

    I NEVER write reviews, but this time I had to. I visited from Toronto with a group of friends & we saw alot of cute TikTok’s. Please, do not waste your time booking a reservation. Staff / hostess, doormen lack common courtesy. They almost seem as if your an inconvenience attending the restaurant as a paying customer. I get mean girl vibes specifically from the hostesses. They don’t look you in the eye while you speak to them and we’re in their phones. Upon greeting staff, they were totally dismissive. Also food is terrible/overpriced, small portions & is not good. Pub food from a small shop would be much better & worth your money. To further justify this review, we bumped into a group of girls having a birthday dinner asking for pictures. They also said they had the same experience and found all staff to be rude, dismissive and stuck up. We all found it strange. This restaurant should focus less on “aesthetics” and “pretty staff” and more on quality food & customer service. One thing I will give them is there cocktails were beautiful ( still overpriced) and the one girl who attended our table was very polite.

    It was raining so that ruined the view/ambiance a bit. The service was good but the food was subpar. We ordered the big AF croissant but the pink icing/frosting on it did not taste good.

    The roof top is made like a U with the bar in the middle. so it’s possible to be on the opposite side of the cute backdrop, lights and photo opportunities. If you’re not on that side then you don’t have access to the reason you booked this cute rooftop.

    I have never had worse service in my life. Server slammed down the appetizer plates, left before we could tell her we were splitting the check, didn’t refill our drinks at all even when asked specifically to do so. Hostess came up to the stand and told us to hold on while she was doing something on her phone before telling us to follow her.

    Lively vibe. Service was not good — two waitresses tended to us. First one merely took our drink order and was baffled by a request for a Paper Plane and The Last Word. The second one re-took our order 25 minutes later after noticing we still had no drinks or food in front of us.  After waiting more than 30 minutes for a second small plate, we finally got our food, exceeding our 90 minute maximum stay.  Food and drink was delicious! The first waitress returned to hand us the bill. Wish I had had cash on hand to tip the second waitress specifically.

    I thought I would get to a place all decorated with pink and I had nothing pink of it. It was like a regular rooftop. The pink stuff I think it’s the distinctive value of this place (that’s why I chose it) and when I got there it was all black.

    This is a good spot if you're just going for drinks and light foods. I went for brunch and the entrees and dessert were not that tasty ! The drinks and music were good. Overall I felt a bit underwhelmed, I've always heard people rave about this spot but I didn't have a 'awesome' experience. This could also be because their spring/summer decor was not yet up so there was also very limited opportunities for photos.

    This is a beautiful rooftop bar. The drinks were spot on. We had the mini sliders and fish tacos. Everything was delicious. We can’t wait to come back to the Magic Hour Rooftop Bar and Lounge.

    The server was the only person who was nice and welcoming. The hostess took a while to get us a table. When I asked to be seated somewhere else, she was rude while texting on her phone. She was on her phone from the moment we got there till we left. Also the lady in the front entrance was also rude about checking our IDs. Seem like they did not want to be at work.
