This place is set up for tourist. Tons of seating 10+ page menu lot of good looking cheap wines. We were seated right away and sat there for about ten minutes. No one ever waited on us. place was packed and not one native. We left (which I never do) and found a small mom and pop open in 1959 with great food. The food maybe fine there but did not travel 1/2 way across the globe to visit an Italian Chili’s.

The most beautiful Tuscan steaks, prepared table side! The sides were wood fired and delicious. Our waiters took the time to explain the cooking process and made wonderful suggestions. Great experience!

Delicious meal in Florence. The bistecca florentine was served tableside and was perfectly cooked. Roast potatoes—chef’s kiss. The waiter was very helpful with wine suggestions also. Chocolate souffle was a big hit. This was a great find.

We wanted to try the Tuscan steak before we left Florence. We randomly chose this restaurant. The steak was delicious and the sides of roasted potatoes and sautéed spinach were as well. I would recommend this restaurant

Absolutely loved this place!! We walked up right at our reservation time and they immediately sat us. Waiter was cheerful and helpful, noise level wasn’t bad, ambiance had a medieval style which I absolutely loved, food was absolutely amazing. 100% would recommend and go back again!

This was legit our best meal in Florence! The food and the pricing - you can’t beat. We shared a pizza and a pasta dish. Both were vegetarian and served with white sauce - the flavors were amazing! We also tried the spinach and fried potatoes. We would highly recommend checking it out.

Where do I begin, service was prompt and attentive but it was not crowded. Mainly non-Italians at 7PM with the Italians not showing up until after 8PM. The wine list very extensive. We had the Chianina beef which is their local breed of beef. A 1.2Kg of a porterhouse cut which is charged by the weight. It is cooked rare and elegantly served on a hot plate that keeps it warm as you eat your dinner. You serve yourself pieces from this hot plate. The sides were very good, especially the grilled vegetables. Vegetables that tasted like vegetables. The produce in this area is excellent compared to ours. Excellent piece of beef. I don't recall the wine but it was a local bottle of a "heavy wine" (not a chianti) which complemented the meat. The staff was very helpful in picking out the wine. 300 Euros for a delicious meal for two that would be much more expensive in New York city. Will definitely return when I am in Florence.

I had booked this reservation in advance for my two friends’ birthday dinners. The photos of the restaurant showed a cute, classy, Italian feel and we were excited to eat there. When we showed up, they seemed confused as if they didn’t know we had a reservation even though I confirmed it multiple times prior to the date. They escorted us to what felt like some back storage room/sports bar/reject area. This was upsetting because we felt like since we had made a reservation, we should have been given a table in the area that was advertised. Our service was then terrible and not attentive at all. I never really leave reviews for restaurants because I understand the chaos that goes on in the business, but this just felt unacceptable. There were 5 of us and when we got our food. They forgot one of our meals, so we were waiting for a very long time to eat before our waiter told us to start eating without our friend because it was going to take so long for her food to be ready. We felt horrible because it was her birthday and the food was sub par at BEST. We were treated like an inconvenience and will definitely not be returning and not recommending. Overall, a 1/5 experience and I just hope for their sake, they can get it together for the next people to go to the restaurant.
