   Ristorante a due passi dal Duomo, locale molto accogliente. Ottima qualità prezzo, i piatti curati nel dettaglio. Il servizio eccellente, il cameriere ci ha aiutati nella scelta di piatti, ci siamo sentiti coccolati. Nonostante il ristorante pieno, non abbiamo subito dei ritardi. Ci torneremo sicuramente!

   Amazing!! Had the florentine steak with potatoes and WOW. For dessert get the warm chocolate cake…you will not be disappointed. Service was amazing and vibes are 🤌🏼. My favorite meal in Italy so far! 10/10 recommend

   The guy with the thick black glasses was the rudest server I have dealt with. So rude, apathetic, would not help. My table was not ready on time so I had to stand outside for 30 minutes. Terrible service. Additionally I put on the reservation it was my wifes birthday and nothing was said or done

   Mediocre & touristy. Avoid this cramped place w/o ambiance. We ordered family style w/Caesar salad, pizza and Florentine steak. The salad was boring with yellow lettuce. The pizza had a nice cheese & oven char but the sausage was nearly raw. Similarly, our steak was VERY raw instead of medium rare. We are talking purple/blue. We had to send it back for additional cooking, where it sat on a counter for over 12 minutes as chef was absent. From our table, we could see our entree just sitting unattended next to the grill with the juices congealing. A bit gross & appetite killing. And to add insult, the steak was pricey for a mid-quality grade petite serving. Service by the all male waitstaff was slow, but they were pushing us out the door as we were finishing our dessert wine, despite the fact that we had spent most of the allotted 1.5 hours waiting for service & our food. How does this place get such a high score? Worst meal out of a 17-day Italy visit. On the plus side, the wine was good. Would NEVER go back to Lo Scudo restaurant & recommend that you avoid it.

    A bit crowded and pretty noisy. However food is excellent and portions large. Wait staff is wonderful. Would return but this restaurant packs in the tables in very tight quarters. Felt like we could hear everyone’s conversations and eat off neighboring table’s plates. It’s the part of the dining experience which was negative.

    Wonderful little spot with exceptional food and nice wine list. Service was outstanding- 4 of us all enjoyed our meals. The burratta appetizer was wonderful! Each course was delicious.

    Very attentive service, excellent pizzas, wonderful atmosphere. Lovely location right next to the Duomo. Had an old-world charm. Good price considering the amazing location! They cut the prosciutto for one of our pizzas right from the meat curing rack once we ordered. Perfetto!

    Place was great, had an awesome steak dish and a very good pasta dish. We also had the mussels for our appetizer and that was amazing. If ever back in Florence this will definitely be in the running for a place to get a great meal!

    Absolutely unbelievable experience. The service! The food! From mussels and clams appetizer to pizza to pasta and dessert. Hubby and I loved the wine and kids couldn’t have been happier with the pasta. Loved every minute. Might go back tomorrow!! Haha

    Good restaurant overall. Quaint and cute. Service was okay; they seemed understaffed. One dish we ordered had a bolognese sauce on top of the steak. The steak was excellent and very tender. I was happy overall.

    What a find! Thanks to Open Table. Our family of 6 throughly enjoyed the food and ambience. The service was super friendly and top notch; the owners were so welcoming and generous. The Bistecca Alla Fiorentina was a melt in your mouth, holy moly experience. Seriously. When you are in Florence you definitely should stop by. You won't regret it.
