   The food was delicious. We ordered the four dips, grilled octopus and grilled shrimp. We were full after that so we went straight to dessert! I had stuffed profiteroles with fudge sauce and my friend had orange cake with ice cream…all great! Our waitress was Voula who was outstanding’

   Lunch at Limani is a nice, calm, tasty experience and a good value. Service has improved a lot due to extra efforts of the main waiters. Shortage of experienced assisting staff is an overall problem and applies everywhere. Appetizer tray was too mild in taste with the exception of tzatziki. Would like the avocado salad to return or add another interesting salad. Greek salad is very good when tomatoes are in season. The whole fish is served Mediterranean style open in the middle and deboned with olive oil/lemon dressing and capers - it was was our favorite and reasonably fresh (why not call it Lavraki as it would be called in Greece?). We would prefer a nice crispy whole piece of Salmon, the kebab style not the best for salmon. Dessert yogurt with honey is great, tasty karydopita with ice cream also good.

   Good food but they were short staffed. We had to ask for silverware, napkins and had to ask for our glasses to be refilled several times. Our server was filling in behind the bar in between waiting tables, so I think there was a staffing issue. Our server apologized and was very nice and we felt bad. It wasn’t the servers fault but it detracted from the experience overall.

   Service at Limani is a real problem. We had a reservation for 7:00 for a regular table. We waited for 30 mins at the bar before finally being seated at a make shift couch/table directly behind the hostess stand where there wasn’t even any waitstaff. No one came over for another 15 mins when we decided to leave. This is the second time we have tried to eat here and service is not where it should be. Won’t be coming back.

   Elegant setting and ambiance. The food is so fresh and presented beautifully. We had a little glitch with one entree (out of 4) being delayed. The manager came over on his own and took good care of us with some very special desserts. Can’t wait to go back ( it already was my 2nd dinner there in 5 days! Even better the 2nd time!)

    Our server was pleasant. The octopus and calamari appetizers were great. The cocktails were delicious but SMALL ! Tiny martini glass. Dessert was great also.

    Saw on Instagram reels so we thought we would give it a try since we were in the area. I must emphasize - the Greek dishes are phenomenal here. We were not fans; however, of the filet mignon kebab. This was one of the blandest filets I have ever tasted. On the contrary, the lamb chops were out of this world. Our evening was topped off by a fly trying to attack the glass of greek wine I asked for to accompany the lamb chops. I would gladly pay their elevated prices for the delicious Greek dishes they have to offer; however, those filet kebabs - not so much.

    I wanted to like this restaurant but I was greatly underwhelmed. I chose Limani for it's menu...I love Mediterranean food! I was taken aback by the higher than expected prices but felt the 1k Open Table points would offset that. Arrived at restaurant and the downstairs was empty, no host, staff or guests. We went upstairs and sat at the bar. Bartender greeted us quickly and poured us water but thereafter seemed rather overwhelmed with work. The octopus was delicious and perhaps the best part of the dinner. I ordered the lamb shank with orzo and the grilled vegetable, halloumi side dish. Neither the lamb nor the orzo had any salt whatsoever. I requested salt and pepper and generously seasoned both myself but it still nearly gave the dishes flavor. The meat and orzo were cooked perfectly but last night's chef must have forgotten to season & taste their product. I also felt that the wines by the glass selections were limiting. I may try it again some day but at their price point the food and service needs to improve.

    I was surprised by how uninteresting the food was. The cheese appetizers were not very flavorful, and my halibut, while certainly not overcooked, tasted like nothing particular beyond salt & pepper. The side vegetables were not prepared with any flavor. At $38 an entree, this seemed uninspired. The waitress and other servers were not particularly warm, and in fact, were relatively cold, though the host was welcoming and cheerful. I have no idea what the back story is, but in general, the expressions on the faces of the staff were dour.

    Overall the experience was a positive one, but for the cost and location I’d probably spend this kind of money somewhere else. The atmosphere and service were good, but I’d expect a higher level of service for the price. The food was good overall with some dishes failing to meet all the expectations and some of the dishes being the full experience. The octopus was cooked perfectly, but somehow lacked full flavor and the Fish of the Day (Branzino was cooked well, but again lacked the full flavor you would expect at this price point). Now let’s move to the dishes that did shine: the mezzo plate, tomato salad and spanakopita were delicious. The pastichio was awesome and they had a boneless ox tail with orzo that even the kids loved. For the desert the Ekmek is a must try and they had a special vanilla and orange sponge cake which was delicious.

    It is a lovely restaurant that is striving to be fancy and upscale. They need to work on meshing what they want to be, to what they are. Upon entry, they told us (we were 20 minutes early for our reservation) that if we exceed 15 minutes at the bar we will lose our table. It felt honestly like a threat, and was quite inappropriate-- especially since they have the nerve to charge close to $20 for a drink. Once they realized they were being ridiculous about not just coming politely to the bar when our table was ready, things got better. The ambiance of the restaurant is perfect. The staff treat their tables with professionalism. The food was very good, but VERY expensive for what was offered to us. We felt the $84 fish share was obnoxiously priced for what it was. Yes, it was fresh, but it was nothing close to an $84 price point. Perhaps offer a little salad with it? Overall a nice restaurant, but be prepared to indulge your wallet while you enjoy the good food.

    The service and food were outstanding. The drinks were delicious. The appetizers were fantastic. The decor is high end. I wish the music could have been lower so I can talk without yelling at my family. Very difficult to have a conversation.

    The food - amazing. Full stop. We shared octopus and Limani’s zucchini/eggplant chips, to start. Short ribs and lamb were our main courses. Mario, our server, was wonderful. Very pricey meal, but we’ll worth the splurge. A great experience! Will definitely be back for the next special occasion!

    Wonderful ambience, clean, bright, and quiet. Food consistently fresh, good quality, and delicious. The octopus appetizer was nicely grilled and tender, the veggie chips were light and crisp, the dip sampler was very tasty. The fish was fresh, mild and moist grilled perfectly. The lamb shops were nicely seasoned and tender. The service was great! Though the prices are a little high , the prefix options are reasonable and comparable. Been there several times with friends and family and will return again.

    We really enjoyed this place on Sunday for lunch! Yes it is pricey but the wolf of the sea was delicious as was the lamb shank! Orzo amazing! Soup amazing ! Feta in philo dough incredible! My daughter ordered burger from fixed menu which was a strange choice considering all the other options.The only thing I didn't like was the blood orange margarita which came in a strange small glass tasted nothing like margarita and cost a crazy 17$. The side dish of sauces was tasty as well. We even got complimentary scallops as it was a b-Day . We will definitely return

    This Anita’s husband. The dinner was glorious; the food; the service; and the atmosphere. My only reservation was the cost of my Bombay Saphire martini at $19.00. Overall prices were high but the drink price seemed exorbitant.

    The ambiance is absolutely perfect for any special occasion. Beautiful, modern, with Greek influence. The Limani chips were to die for. Everybody should get them. The avgolemono soup was also very good and reminded me of my yiayias. The calamari was excellent and perfectly lightly fried. The pastichio was good but had too many noodles and not enough beef and bechamel. The moussaka was also good but barely had any eggplants and instead use potatoes as a filler. Considering these entrees were $30 it was not worth the price unfortunately. The galaktoboureko was odd and not traditional in any sense. I didn’t like it but I’m sure others may. Overall, I enjoyed the ambiance and appetizers the most. The wine selection was also excellent and included a large selection of wines from different regions of Greece.

    The place is absolutely GORGEOUS! Decor and color scheme, comfortable tables and chairs. But the service was very slow. Our waiter was very kind, but significantly slow to come take our order. The appetizers were delicious. There were 4 of us. Two of us got the halibut and two got the filet mignon kebab...the halibut was very good - but both had large bones (that we should have been warned about in advance- and were not). Almost choked on one. The Filet Mignon kebab was terrible. The meat was grizzly and not flavorful. Rather bland. The dish looked wonderful - but was very disappointing. The menu is very cheese and fried-food heavy. I would return for drinks at the bar just to take in the very posh atmosphere, but not for a meal. Overpriced- which I wouldn't normally mind, as long as it was great. Glad I went to experience it - but disappointing.
