Restaurant is beautiful. View of the wharf is amazing. Host staff was great. There was some mixup with the kitchen and we had no food for an hour. Manager was super apologetic and took care of it. Going forward I hope the waitstaff would be paying more attention to notice when a table doesn’t receive food in a timely manner.

Pretty loud and too dark. The waiter rushed us through our appetizers and the food wasn’t that great. I wasn’t impressed with anything.

The overall ambience of La Vie was very fun and inviting and the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend this with a group or as a romantic dining experience since they have the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the wharf.

My friends and I came for the brunch buffet. We loved the food, the other all aesthetic of the restaurant, and the wonderful service.

Ambiance was excellent. Service was fantastic ! Food however was disappointing for me personally. My girl had the risotto which she loved and I had the lamb chops. Pea purée was flavorful a saffron was a nice touch. The crushed potatoes were crispy and very flavorful BUT the lamb ? It lacked its own identity. The meat itself was not up to par. It was bland the sauce helped it a bit but it was disappointing since I was told it’s the crowd favorite #1 seller. Not really.

Our server was amazing. My daughter enjoyed the octopus which she loves and the birthday dessert.

The food and service was spot on. I had the octopus and the branzino. My boyfriend had the Steak Frites. All were excellent but the branzino was especially delicious. It was cooked perfectly with crispy skin. The restaurant is beautiful. Looking forward to seeing the other space they are working on in the same building. We got a peek at it and it looks really cool.

It was my boyfriend’s birthday I spoke with the host about what I wanted a week before she said “I got it” when I came in I spoke ones again with the host just in case they forget it she said we got it no worries also I wrote my request on online too, I spoke with the server as well when he came to the table that part is the worst the server was lost, I payed $250 for 2 people and it was the poor service I’ve ever had and also the tips was added already but I don’t mind to pay for it, but in this case I was really upset with this experience and a very popular and expensive restaurant it’s not fair.

The scallop dish wasn’t too great except for the eggplant. I also didn’t enjoy the purees served with the tuna tartare. They didn’t enhance the flavor. The charred broccolini side dish was great. The all smoke cocktail probably was my favorite part of the meal. We sat outside on the patio. I thought the decor was more elegant on the inside than the paper flowers on the walls but the ambience was still pretty good. The servers were attentive and everything was served in a timely manner.

The food was absolutely delicious. The decor was amazing and the outdoor terrace was beautiful view and the flower was very nice touch to the overall ambiance.

ALWAYS MAKE RESERVATIONS! They have a diverse menu (always inquire about the catch of the day). Read the drink menu multiple times. Its vast.

We came to La Vie for a girls night and we had an amazing time!

We love brunch at La Vie! Everything was delicious... Our table ordered Duck Carbonara, Steak & Eggs, Caesar Salad, Baklava Waffle (OMG yum!), Steak Tartare.... Delicious and at $45 it is a definite deal.

Our waiter, I believe his name was Adrian, was friendly and very attentive. I would give him 10 stars alone!!!

I love La Vie, one of my favorite restaurants in the city! I chose it for a special dinner with my in-laws, but was mortified at what embarrassing customer service we experienced while there. Unprofessional, rushed, and flighty are how I would describe our server and the staff at the front. I was very disappointed in what is usually a fan favorite. Not to mention the prices for a small amount of food... Our “special occasion” was the low point of their visit.

DeAndre was amazing! It was our first time there for my boyfriend birthday and the ambience was intimate but fun for a date night. Service was one to experience, each drink we ordered came out with a different experience smoke, fire, bubbles! Food was spot on and the birthday dessert came with brownie, champagne and a sparkling candle.

We celebrated my daughter's birthday at LaVie, which she learned about from a TikTok video. It was all we expected and more. The service from the very friendly staff was excellent! The atmosphere of the restaurant was welcoming and beautiful, with a fantastic view of the water. Lastly, the food was AMAZING!!! Although, it's a bit pricey, everyone in our party agreed it was worth it. We will be back!

It was my first time I took my daughter our waiter was beyond amazing and the food was delicious

Very nice atmosphere with some great flavors. My only critique is the shrimp and lobster tail was a little over cooked. Otherwise the seafood tower was really great. The tuna tartar, mussels, roasted potatoes, and crispy brussels were all spectacular.

Food was perfect view was amazing our waiter hands down the best he made our first visit there enjoyable even told us we can look around the chandelier room was so beautiful and big over all experience was AMAZING will go there again .!!!

We went to celebrate our cousins birthday and had an amazing night! The food was great, the ambiance, and our waiter JP was the best! Definitely will be coming back!

The restaurant itself is nice. The food was good but nothing spectacular to blow me away. I will have to give them props for the clam chowder soup. That was amazing! Also the dessert was good too! I was disappointed that we were seated in the flowery section. I would’ve preferred to wait for a table to open up than to be seated there on Valentine’s Day. It killed the mood and we were pretty much unimpressed. They had a birthday going on and it was loud and the mood was just not right especially if we are paying so much for a special night. We were celebrating both our anniversary and Valentine’s Day in which it was noted upon reservations. I would recommend to a friend but to make sure they get better seating. After dinner, our server showed us around and we loved all the other rooms. I’m sure the flowery room looks amazing in the spring/summer for brunch but definitely not for a special night. Our server was great! They kept refilling our drinks food came out on time.

Overall, okay experience. Valentines’s day dinner up charge for the menu was not worth it. Would go back for regular menu items.
