On Valentine's Day, the 14th of February 2023, only our Special Valentine's Set menu is available

OPENING HOURS:

Monday - Wednesday from 4.00 PM to 12.30 AM.

Thursday - Sunday from 1.00 PM to 1.30 AM.

The last seating is at 10.00 pm

BOOKING POLICY

Due to a very high number of No-Show Reservations in the past, for every booking, a deposit of €10 per person will be charged at the time of the booking.

We will require a minimum of 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel your booking.

The deposit will be deducted from your final bill or can be refunded to your card when you arrive at the restaurant

Again, another amazing meal ! Came here for Mothers Day with my mam and sister and it was their first time and they’ve already booked their next dinner ! Soup and bread for starter was incredible and all 3 different pasta dishes were INCREDIBLE We wanted to be seated downstairs in the cavern and again, they were super accommodating and the staff were wonderfully and polite and attentive ! 100% recommend for any type of dining !

You know it will not be authentic Italian food , when you see spring rolls and burgers on the menu… very charming restaurant, our server was wonderful, she was very accommodating, and personable.

Good honest food not overpriced , selection of dishes that you can tailor by having the pasta of your choice with . Staff friendly and informative without being overbearing. Wine list to suit both palates and pockets so easy to choose. Portions typically Irish (large)so don’t over order.

Honestly the nicest food me and my partner have both had in a long time. Went on at Patrick’s night in a busy Dublin and expected the worst! We were greeted at the door with amazing service and seated right away. Everything was perfect staff were amazing can’t wait to come back. Haven’t stopped thinking of the carbonara!!!

We had high hopes after reading the reviews. While the interior is lovely, staff were friendly, great location but the food let it down. Overcooked was the word unfortunately, the squid starter was over cooked, total rubber. Will say the fried calamari was decent. We both had the salmon which were totally over cooked (I couldn’t eat mine). We did say it to the staff member who apologised, but rather than take it off the bill we got a limoncello (which we didn’t like or want). Wine quite pricy too for what it was. I’m afraid we won’t be back.

The ambience of La Caverna is on the more formal side however it feels suitable for a casual meal also. My boyfriend and I have been there twice now and they cater perfectly to vegans. It was my boyfriends birthday and I requested a candle if we got dessert, however we didn’t. They brought icecream with chocolate sauce with a candle, it was a very sweet gesture :)

We loved the food here, and the location was great. The goat cheese appetizer was delicious and we all loved our main courses. The service was good but a bit delayed to how busy they were, not really the servers fault. Would recommend.

Lovely staff and food. Not the restaurant’s fault but people on the table beside us loudly making fun of / comments on myself / my partner and our food choices. Kinda put a dampener on things. Other than that the food was lovely and great service

I booked this table for mine and my partners anniversary. I emailed and enquired about having our table down in the cellar and they were super accommodating. Brought us out a nice anniversary dessert (didn’t charge for this). The service was wonderful. They checked on us, but the right amount where you didn’t feel bothered by them. The other customers seemed to really enjoy their food and the chats with the staff. Would absolutely recommend!!

When we arrived the waiter took us downstairs to our table which was in the middle (between two other tables). All the tables were so squashed together. We asked if we could have a table at the wall but we were told no as they were reserved for other guests. A couple sat next to us after a bit who said they didn't like their original table so were moved to the wall beside us (where we were told we couldn't sit) and the table the other side of us was empty the whole time as well as other wall side tables. Aside from this the waiters walking back and fourth kept hitting off us and our table as there was hardly any space between tables. The food was only ok, we wouldn't go back again

Amazing food, great service and friendly staff but we seated close to a big group and they were celebrating something and doing a lot of noise but that’s not the restaurant, that’s happen. I’ll definitely be back!!
