   We loved the atmosphere and great service from Bristol! The menu is great. Would like to see the creamed spinach available as a side! Or as an appetizer with toast or pita points. Yum! Would also like a fancy chicken sandwich or special burger option. As always though, a great time.

   Excellent experience. We ended up being the last reservation of the night. The entire staff were cheerful and helpful regardless of the time. Our food was delicious! Looking forward to returning earlier in the evening next time with more time to spare.

   Our group liked the "new" King Neptune. It was a little on the loud side though. Maybe being a Friday night? Really liked the short rib appetizer.

   Hibachi night at King Naptune! We had wonderful appetizers and great cocktails too. We took 2 couples with us and they are anxious to go back! Ps: great desserts too.

    We waited for a table in the Pirate Bar half of the restaurant, where even though they were very busy the barkeeper made it a point to greet everyone and ensure glasses stayed full. Once seated for dinner, the Brussel sprouts app was awesome, as was my seared scallop entree. Courteous and attentive staff throughout, check it out!

    We went on Valentines Day. We were delayed due to heavy traffic In Wilmington so we had a short wait for our table. We were seated at a high top table but didn’t seem to have a dedicated waitress as she seemed to be behind the bar most of the time. They have two bars, one separate from the dining room & one in the dining room. We had their shrimp bisque which was ok but not what I want as a shrimp bisque; it was like a tomato soup with pieces of shrimp. The arugula salad with Prosciutto, apples, pecans, small shreds of fontina cheese & lemon thyme Vinaigrette sounded wonderful but somehow lacked flavor. The scallops on grits were delicious & a nice serving of 5 wrapped in prosciutto & my husband really liked his swordfish. We had a hard time getting more wine & our check, having to ask other waiters passing by & then waiting a while. We will go back but $12.95 for a salad is high although it would feed 4; the least expensive are $11.95. It would be nice if they would cut the size & the price as it comes with dressing on it so it wouldn’t keep for another day. The staff is very friendly & we appreciated their help when we couldn’t get our waitress.

    My son had the tuna and he said it was very good. My husband and I both got shrimp and grits and it was decent but not great. Neither of us really loved their version. Service was good other than my husband having to wait for a second beer that finally appeared after we were all done eating. The bar was pretty busy so I’m sure that was the issue, but I feel like the server should confirm that something is still desired if you have to wait that long for it.

    Food was excellent, as well as the service, music could have been toned down a few notches because it seemed hard to have a conversation without having to yell. Overall still a very good dining experience

    Good food and lots of it. New owners have preserved the history yet modernized the restaurant side. I think I spent every dime I had back in the day at the Neptune.

    King Neptune is a must-visit! My partner and I brought my parents here for an early Christmas get-together, which did not disappoint. We got the braised pork, scallops, wahoo special, and swordfish among us. No complaints about any of it! Beautifully plated, well-thought-out combinations. As for dessert, the key lime pie was delicious but the bread pudding was the night's winner. We will definitely be back!

    We found King Neptune to be a very pleasantly surprising. The Resturant has been completely redone it is beautiful inviting and impeccable clean and inviting The menus was not overwhelming in mass choice's However it was diverse and a culinary delight everything was prepared cooked and presented in a five star fashion You will enjoy the experience.
