Excellent service and the food was amazing. It was my daughters birthday & the waiter very kindly bought her a complimentary chocolate pudding. It made her day. Well done

The waiting staff were outstanding, I forgot to get there names but it was 2 ladies The food was ok there was nothing particularly wrong with it but for me it was nothing special I have dined at the original Ivy in West st London and I’ve got to say Canterbury is nowhere near as good

One of the party had fish and chips. The batter was thick and goey which was unpleasant.

The menu choices at the Ivy allow you plenty of choice. The food is delicious and the portions reasonably sized so that you can manage 3 courses fairly easily. The staff are very attentive and courteous. The ambience is also very good.

Staff very attentive, lovely ambience but we felt that the food was a bit of a let down. Well presented but found the cheese soufflé extremely rich and couldn’t even manage half of it. Main course and desserts were good, but I did expect more from the Ivy.

We went to the Halloween breakfast with our 4-year old granddaughter. It was overall a wonderful experience with a good range of food choices and great quality food. The children's menu was also varied. The children also got lovely gift of a soft toy bat as well as a nice bag that they could colour. The only downside was that we felt there would be some entertainment for the children. There was a magician but he was more for the adults. Our granddaughter got a bit bored once she had had breakfast and we needed something to engage her for a bit longer! The breakfasts were quite expensive so something to enable us to stay for longer next year would be appreciated.

I wish I could have given this experience a better review. We went for the Halloween breakfast (on my birthday). The service was rushed, felt impersonal and the Halloween experience characters didn’t even attend our table- which we were placed in the corner of the room. The food was overpriced for what it was, we had a plate of four pastries , our breakfast mains and for 1 adult and 1 child the food came to £82! I did not feel like saying anything to the staff as I did not want to ruin my birthday. The woman who served us- felt like she was just doing her job, but lacked customer experience and was not so friendly. They did nothing to celebrate my birthday and said they did not know - even though I stated to them it was…for the price I was hoping to have a personal and more fun experience.

We love the special family breakfasts. We have been to several of these now and they are always lovely. Great food, service and surroundings This Halloween breakfast was so much fun with the staff all dressed up and the chance for the children to go in fancy dress. We had the pleasure of Mr Daren Rotherham Magician at our table showing us some amazing sleight of hand magic. He was fabulous and very funny. My granddaughters loved it. We will be back for another amazing breakfast hopefully at Christmas. Keep it up. We love the Ivy.
