The food was less than average. The soup was very salty, the salad covered in salad dressing and the hibachi was just unremarkable. Our chef was too aggressive and spoke in a very high pitched voice. He also kept squirting Saki at us to catch in our mouth. He covered my husbands shirt in Saki. He bordered on obnoxious. Our group of four agreed that we can check this one off of our list. Once was more than enough.
Probably would have had a better experience if we had a better server. Server wasn't bad but was kind of out there. Had to be reminded about stuff constantly and she only had one other table outside. But I'll probably go back. Food was good and not too heavy for hibachi.
Great food and personnel.....entertaining and comfortable.
Took over 25 minutes to be greeted, though we arrived 5 minutes before reservation. Took another 10 minutes to be seated. After 10 mins went to bar to get our own drinks. Things improved after that.
This restaurant has so much potential! The menu itself is unique from other sushi restaurants, and has some really exciting items, like their crispy rice with tuna and kalbi. My only issue is the taste. For example, the sushi rice (call me a sushi snob), but it's just not good, and ruins the flavor of their rolls. I think they need to get someone in the kitchen and take a refresher course. And maybe they need to take a closer look at the menu pictures and make sure that those items actually resemble the pics, because some of my food looked nothing like I expected. But overall, the food is ok.
Excellent value consistently. My 5th visit and never disappointed.
We attended to celebrate Mother's Day, it was fun and we ate well. The service was awesome and we will definitely be back.
this was our first time dining here. The food was delicious, the presentation was fun and comical. We enjoyed our time. When we were getting ready to leave it was pouring rain. The host pulled out an umbrella and walked me to my car. The extra touches made the evening special
We had a delicious meal with great service. Made our birthday boy feel very special!
Great dinner at Ironstone! Chef was friendly and a good Cook. Only critic is its just too much food. Would be nice to be able to order smaller portions.
The one thing that appeared this hibachi from others that I've been to is that they provide noodles with everything else, which was a nice touch. Service was really great.
My family was visiting from out of town and I wanted to go someplace a bit different that might be entertaining for their 5 year old. Ironstone definitely delivered on that and everyone had a great meal and a great time! The "show" isn't quite as sophisticated as i've seen at other hibachi restaurants, but still entertaining and the food was excellent (major carb overload with fried rice and noodles both included tho!) and many members of our party VERY much enjoyed the sake bombs :-) Parking was horrendous on a Friday night at 6:45 as the lot is shared by WAY too many places, but that was really the only negative to our experience. A mistakenly ordered tuna poke appetizer turned out to be everyone's favorite, and the waiter gave my Mom free green tree ice cream for putting up with the others having their sake bombs! Definitely worth a try!
Couples date night
Relaxing and good
This was my 2nd visit to Iron Stone and once again I was very pleased with the food and service! I read some previous reviews and didn't understand why people were having reservation issues. We were seated right away and came about 5 min before our reserved time. We were at the Hibachi table and they promptly took our drink order and regular order. Another group seated with us had already placed their orders so we had to rush but only slightly. The chef was very entertaining and very funny! It's Hibachi people, you can't take yourself seriously or else you won't enjoy the randomness of it! Food was great. Always plentiful! We had a great time and will always be happy to come back with friends and family!
Enjoyed a great hibachi dinner with family at Ironstone! The Chef was excellent and very entertaining. Food was wonderful and even had some left to take home.
This is a GREAT place to celebrate a birthday!!! So fun, Good food, good service!
This place was great. Food was amazing and cost about the same as other hibachi places. Only problem I had was that I waited almost my whole meal for a refill on my drink.
Going out on Valentine's day was a bad idea.
It took 40” for them to bring me a bottle of “hot,” actually warm sake. Too few overworked and overwhelmed waitresses..
Great place. Highly recommended.
Food was very tasty and well presented. It was a bit loud but also A holiday some we will have to try again on a normal day. I do plan on going back.
Great food.. recommend the Hidden Dragon roll. fun atmosphere. Service could have been better.
We went not knowing what to expect since they are new and the experience was fun. Highly recommend the pork steam buns appetizer. The quality of the hibachi was the best we have had in a long time compared to other hibachi in the area. Overall great experience and we would go again.
Sushi not memorable. Hibachi mediocre. They misplaced my cc but found it.
Food was good. Surprised there is a charge for soda water ($3) - most places don't charge for that.
They made my son’s 11th Birthday Dinner Celebration on 1/19/2018 very special and the food was fresh and very well-seasoned. Our entire party of 6 was seated at our very own private Hibachi table and we were all highly pleased with our experience. Thank you, IronStone!
Great food and drinks, fun experience with friendly service.
Had to wait a good half an hour before being sat. A little slow service, but food very tasty. Lots of Saki poured.
I wanted more. It’s nicely decorated but a little stark and cold. The service was ok. People were friendly and attentive but we were one of two tables so it was virtually empty. The sushi was ok, fresh, like the sizes because they were not too big. We didn’t do hibachi but that looked fun for large groups. Overall, it was ok, but has potential to be a lot better. Something just seems off.
We had to wait 20 min past our open table reservation, but service was kind and gave our kids a free drink. Food was great, huge quantity.
Experience was so so. Food was average. Prices on the steep side.
Ordered Filet and Lobster. Filet was tough and lobster was rubbery. Service was not up to standard. Maybe they had a bad night?
We’ve been here twice. Our server both times was lovely and the food is good - but our most recent visit (this evening) was a pretty poor experience. We were seated for a 6pm hibachi reservation at 6pm (with our toddler), and our hibachi chef did not arrive to our table until after 7pm. It appears that there was a miscommunication with staffing, but no one really did anything about it, until I stated to someone (maybe the manager?) that we were going to leave. Pretty disappointing.
Great time. Great meal
The food and service was phenomenal ♥️. I will definitely be back.
Great sushi bar/lounge and hibachi restaurant in one. Beautifully appointed, delicious food, and attentive service!
The pork bun appetizer is a must have. Very delicious. Also the Hot and Sour soup is very good.
The food was really good and the chef was a lot of fun. Great menu....be prepared for leftovers because it was a lot of food.
Nice place and good food. But the bar serves amazing handcrafted cocktails by Ken, their capable mixologist. Highly recommend ordering the Old Fashioned.
