   The food was amazing as always. I recommended the Brisket Tacos to my friends and we all ordered them. Everyone loves them! Tuesday’s Special is my favorite!

    The food was okay. Our sever was no where to be seen after we received our food. We had to go to the front to ask for our check.

    Had a great early dinner with my husband, our server Pat was awesome and on top of everything. Food is delicious and the rest of the staff were friendly as well. We really enjoyed the prime rib sandwich and sliced brisket.

    Not great. Portion size has shrank, my side of mac and cheese was cold and okra was soggy and only got 5 pieces. Brunt ends were very dried out and took several a very long time to bring sauce.

    Had such a fun dinner with great food while visiting family in OKC! The Mac and cheese was way creamier than many BBQ places I’ve tried, the pulled pork sandwich was solid, and the giant chocolate cake was delicious (and truly enormous!). Would come back if I’m ever in the area again.

    We eat here frequently as it is in our neighborhood. Food is consistently delicious and they have good cocktails. Monday night Smoked red Chile chicken enchiladas are the best.

    Started off great because we were able to make a reservation instead of waiting for seating. Food and service were perfect. We love the BBQ brisket, ribs and the macaroni and cheese is a favorite.

    We LOVE this place. Our favorites are the brisket & fried okra, though the salmon and drinks are amazing. The service has always been above standards.

    Came here to celebrate a birthday with a small group. The service was excellent, as was the food. Our server, Sam, was attentive, very friendly and did a nice job of explaining the various food options. The chopped brisket was excellent… loved the smoked flavor. The brisket plate came with a choice of two sides. The Mac and Cheese was incredible, as were the baked beans. Several of us had the Cobb salads with smoked turkey…these are excellent as well. We all had a great time and vowed to come back in the future. This was an A+ day!!

    Received wrong side dishes and had to get server’s attention as plates were quickly placed in front of us with zero acknowledgement by another server. Meals were great though!

    Despite the noise level being high (I like the term "energetic") I love this place. The smoked turkey is more moist and delicious than it has any right to be. But the draw for me is always the tenderloin salad. The combination of tastes is the ultimate experience for me. Always a great choice.

    The BBQ was very good. It is not your hole in the wall BBQ. How ever after passing this place for several years I decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed and I have had BBQ all over the state. The server was attentive she could have been a little more friendly. That could have been from lack of experience. For something special and different highly recommend it. Desert and coffee were awesome . Bread pudding 👍

    Iron Star has so many excellent dishes and we weren’t disappointed. We had the smoked potato with pimento cheese sauce, slices of brisket, BBQ sauce, fried onion rings - just great and enough for lunch the next day. Also had the salmon salad - incredible salad. Their sides are so good, their meats are excellent. Service exceeded expectations. Can’t wait to return.

    A very crowded Friday night. Food was great as usual. Has always been a little noisy with the hard floors. We haven’t been there in a while but the food makes want to come back soon.
