   Ottima accoglienza, contesto magnifico. Chef molto disponibile a spiegare la sua idea di cucina. Piatti interessanti per gusti e consistenze con tanti vegetali. Tutto buono al palato e in giuste proporzioni per riuscire ad arrivare in fondo. Unica pecca: il dolce non era dolce.

   End to End one of the most incredible meals I ever had. The Trust-Me menu was full of craziness. Surprising ingredients and flavors served in an incredible venue. Comes with the nerve ticke of not knowing, what the chef will serve. But the menu had a dramaturgy that pulls you in and makes time fly. But in case you are more into Italian classics you can pick from the a la carte menu. Il Sereno is a place that lifts the mood. There is an attention to detail in the design that I‘ve never experienced anywhere, let alone in Lago Como. The whole experience deserves the predicate worth a travel, which implies that the one star it currently holds shouldn’t stay alone any longer!

    If you find yourself in the area (lucky you!) do not miss this! The hotel itself is very sleek and modern but the outdoor dining space is almost grotto feeling. The restaurant is know for its tasting menus, but we did the 2 course a la carte menu. My mom ordered the buckwheat stuffed pasta and beef, I ordered the lavarello and cheese platter. The plating was spectacular. The pasta dish was one of the best bites of food I’ve ever had. The main courses were both delicious and the cheese platter (which we took to-go) was a beautiful selection and very generous portions. The staff was attentive, professional and friendly. Ambiance is magnificent. If you are in the area do yourself a favor and get a reservation!

    The setting vies and sound of the water gently lapping against the shore was serene. The food exceeded the quality of many similarly rated restaurants I have eaten at and no doubt they are well on their way to further awards. The service was impeccable, yet unstuffy. All the staff seemed to be incredibly proud of what they did - and deservedly so.

    Absolutely fabulous. Stellar service. Everyone speaks English very well so no worries there. Food was exquisite and beautiful. Vegetarian menu is excellent for the veg heads out there. The wine service and somms were knowledgeable and very friendly with reasonable prices given it’s Michelin Star. All Italian list so let them help. The menu is fish heavy so definitely steer white or bubbles. Enjoy!

    A wonderful dining experience that starts already at the reception. A highly proessional team that makes you feel looked after at all stages of the evening. The chef accomodated multiple special dietary requirements. The venue is also spectacular with amazing views. All in all can highly recommend this restarant.

    I expected more from the degustation menu, you couldn’t taste the flavor of the particular ingredients in its composition, no harmony and mostly fishy and oily taste the service tried to do do their best, were friendly, sometimes misunderstanding in communication the location it is beautiful , right at the lake with a wonderful view

    Our experience at Berton al Lago was simply amazing. The view is breathtaking, the food incredibly good, the service impeccable. The modern architecture of Il Sereno, with the use of wood and stones, perfectly melts with the lake environment. Silence and privacy are guaranteed, in all areas. It's a real luxury experience.     I clearly reserved a table by the lake. We arrived and asked for a apperetivo this single table is reserved for hotel guest but still after us other non hotel guest could get it. Again the same we are very busy and have no table on the terrazza where i had my reservation and some guest witch arrived after us could get it ! Please stop this game ! I m disapointed by the excuses when you feel they are not honest !

    Location is simply epic. Ancient stone boat dock has been converted to a a stunning dining room with tables inside and out. A bit of wind coming off the lake while we dined only accentuated the ambiance. We ordered the chef surprise 9 course tasting menu. Each morsel was a delight. Wasn't overly impressed with the vegetable dessert though. Service was impeccable, prompt and courteous but carried off with flair & panache. Will definitely return one day...

    We went for dinner to the restaurant for a special occasion. We were told immediately that the areas to take a drink (lounge bar and terrace) were reserved for the hotel guests. We had no choice than go to the restaurant directly. This was not a nice welcome. Regarding the dinner itself, the food is ok but is not worth the price, and does not deserve a Michelin star. The wine list is very interesting and the sommelier is really kind and passionate.

    Amazing view of Como Lake. Food mindblowingly good (One Michelin Star speaks for itself). Best in class furniture/decor. Friendly and attentious staff. A bit pricy but that’s life!

    Overly fussy food and presentation, tiny portions, and very slow and often inattentive service. Nearly three hours for our meal, and over thirty minutes from the time we finished dessert to when we were able to obtain our check. Plus we were offered glasses of champagne that were made to seem complimentary, but were actually €25 each.

    Unbelievable!!! Setting is breath taking overlooking Lake Como. Service was excellent and not at all stuffy. Food amazing , a true dining experience. We went for a Sunday lunch our first day at Lake Como & it was the perfect way to relax & unwind. It is expensive, especially if you start adding wine, etc. but worth it for a special treat. Modern & new, this is an outstanding hotel & restaurant. Dress was casual for lunch and offered what I think was a full dinner menu. Also had a tasting menu & wine paring option.

    Hotel and the restaurant is definitaly must see in termos of ambiance and the location. The deşign of the hotel Booth inside and outside excellent... food is extraordinary.. servise is good but could be improved... overall a fantastic plase to experience lake Como...

    An amazing location for an excellent meal! The view is breath taking and the sevice was perfect but not "stuffy"

    The food was delicious and inspired. Our compliments to the obviously talented chef. The pistachio dessert was to die for. The waiter recommended it and we're glad we listened to him. I could have eaten that for days. However, the mosquitoes were a big problem that they have to fix. I know they want to have outdoor dining, but you need to close off the large windows if you'd like to do that. Mosquito bites and fine dining do not mix. We were seated outside and then had to move inside because I kept getting bitten while I ate. When I looked up at the ceiling, there were swarms of insects. Once that issue is sorted out, this will be a remarkable dining experience. I recommend you book immediately, but sit inside.

    We booked for a late lunch. The hotel is rated as 5*L and so we were checked in at the gate house as non residents. On arriving at reception we were greeted and welcomed to the restaurant. Most diners were sat outside in the bistro area but we requested to sit in the shaded area of the restaurant and were welcomed to a beautiful spot with arched views of the lake and opposite shoreline. We were offered the bistro menu and a la carte from which we chose a mix. The bistro menu is more straight forward giving a good value quality choice of day grilled salmon or burger. The a la carte is a very different standard and worth enjoying the saffron risotto was sublime. We went to see the beautiful architecture and hoped the food would measure up both surpassed our expectations.
