Il Bar is a cocktail bar and café located in the Food Hall at the 7th Floor of Rinascente Milan in Piazza Duomo.

An exclusive location with main room with panoramic windows, rooftop terrace and lounge area: you can enjoy a wonderful view over the spiers of the Milan Cathedral.

To access the lounge, please use the direct lift to the Food Hall 7th Floor from Via Santa Radegonda or Via San Raffaele.

    La prenotazione per il bar in terrazza è praticamente nulla in quanto all’arrivo il personale replica che non prendono prenotazioni per il bar, quindi vi ritroverete a fare la fila. Trattandosi di uno spazio molto ampio l’attesa è minima. Per il resto tutto ok.

    posto per spennare i turisti qualità zero ed anche poco chiaro nelle indicazioni per le prenotazioni e nel menu ci sono sempre sorprese di pagamenti aggiuntivi

    Ho prenotato e confermato per due persone online ( con un messaggio di richiesta speziale ) , ma quando siamo arrivati ci avete fatto sapere che la mia prenotazione non era presente in lista . Mi sono sentito veramente imbarazzato , avevo prenotato per il compleanno della mia fidanzata incinta , immaginate che faccia mi sono fatto quel giorno davanti a lei . Abbiamo Aspettato 30 minuti circa per ricevere il foglio del menu ( sotto freddo , nella mia richiesta durante la prenotazione ho richiesto un posto chiuso all'interno ) , e altri 30 per il primi piatti . Siamo dovuti annullare il deserto perché non cella facevamo più .

    Took my mom for a birthday lunch , not much for a vegetarian to eat The dessert is worth the money cheese cake was huge. We was thinking it would be a normal Side but it could of easily fed up to two ppl Also ordered the woo woo , omg it was just amazing how beautiful these dessert was made # get your camera ready The drinks are pricey don't bothered getting the pink candy floss drink was not worth £16 just candy floss and lemonade with gold leaf

    Was terrible! Your service was poorest comparing to overall Italy 😀 before coming we checked Instagram profile, after our visit we understand that you do not have even enough glasses for Aperols. 😀We paid full prices and drank drinks from glasses which is suitable only for juices 😀 the food was 5/10, but service 1/10

    We had a reservation for dinner and upon arrival we were told that the restaurant was closed for a private party. The hostess that helped us was nice but we were unable to eat here due to the clear mix up of their reservation website.

    They have not accepted our online reservation. At first we had to wait and they just said wait a minute, when we still had to wait 15 minutes after the reserved time, we asked again and were only then told that online reservations are ignored.

    We booked the latest moment and arrived last minute. Even that, the personnel did the best to bring us the best service, every body were kind and the food was amazing. We will come back definitely

    We made online reservation. We arrived on time, but no table was available on the terrasse for us. The waitress told us that with online reservation we have to eat inside. ??? So we choose to stay outside with only a few tapas instead of proper meal. The drinks and tapas were good, but very expensive. 2 bellinis and 2 raviolis for 50 euros. We had to share a table with others. Won’t go again.

    Really bad experience. Poorest service in a lifetime. „First Impression“ to our „we have a reservation“ the answer from the waitress: „no you have not“. After showing our reservation she gave us a table relucantly. (And we were properly dressed - maybe overdressed) None of the waiters there were corteous. If there were not the Duomo view, I am saure nobody would go to this restaurant. By the way: two times Pasta, 2 Cocktails and 1 starter to share: 92,- the quality of the food was not really special, but okay.

    The waiter was racist to me as I was the only black person in my group. All of my drinks were late and would talk to me so I had my friends order for me. Good place but terrible service, treat every customer the same

    We booked a table for 8:30, when we arrived they had no recollection of our booking. We ended up waiting around until 9 o’clock before we got a table sandwiched between two other tables. The price was ridiculous (10€ for a soft drink, 12€ for a beer). Staff were rude and service was slow, we ended up walking out and going somewhere else. Don’t waste your time or money here

    The waiter who waited on us was very rude. He took our order and afterwards threw our menus forcefully on another table. He treated us very differently from the guests next to us. He never asked once how everything was, but did so with the people next to us. He threw the bill on the table in front of my daughter. When we said we would pay by credit card, he told us to go to the register to pay; however, the couple next to us, the card machine was brought to them. The food was so-so for the prices they charged and was not warm. Would not recommend this restaurant at all although ambience was nice and you could see the duomo from our table.

    Lieu qui vaut le détour pour sa vue unique et la qualité de sa carte. Le service est agréable et les espaces bien aménagés. Attention les réservations concernent la salle intérieure uniquement. La terrasse est accessible pour manger si il reste des places. Petit bémol : Les boissons restent trés chères ! Mais la vue sur le Duomo est imprenable !

    Amazing location! Thought I had booked a table on the terrace though as it wasn’t clear on the website. A bit disappointed to find out we were actually inside. No bread served with salad, had to purchase a bread basket as extra. Would have been a nice touch serve with a piece on the side as didn’t really want a whole basket.
