Good restaurant, not fancy but with good products.
Pasta plates are very nice, highly recommend the pasta with scampi.
Desserts are also surprisingly good and hand made.
Not that expensive. Recommend.
The restaurant offers authentic Italian food with good dishes. The cuttlefish in ink sauce is a must have. Service Top!
The food was great and simple! The waiters were nice and kept on checking on us. The only down side if it can put this way , too hard to find it.. otherwise the food & deserts is most definitely worth a visit.
Il ristorante e ottimo dal ogni punto di vista. Piatti buonissimi e diversi rispetto agli altri ristoranti, atmosfera tranquilla, personale gentile e preparato. Ottima la cucina Veneziana. Consiglio di prenotare di sera altrimenti ci si rischia di rimanere senza tavolo. Tornerò e consiglierò.
Eccellente. Ottimo anche il servizio. Un filo troppo delicato il saor, ma grandiosi i bigoli con il sugo di acciughe, e il filetto all'amarone si scioglieva in bocca. Grazie anche di non sembrare troppo per turisti.

We came here after seeing how close it was to our hotel and we was not disappointed our server Alex was amazing with his recommendations and was not wrong with the choice of wine EXCEPTIONAL! "Scuse me" who was his second in command tonight proved that his mum does in fact make the best cheesecake in the world and his banter was a great touch. Whilst the service was some of the best we have ever had the food was sublime and can say the rabbit tagliatelle was one of the best. If we ever return to venice you can be sure we are reserving a table here within a heartbeat thankyou.
We loved this restaurant - our favorite (and last) meal in Venice. The service was friendly and at a great pace - not rushed but not crazy slow either. There were three of us and we had the buratta to share which was excellent and the nice bread they serve went well with it. For the pasta course we shared two dishes - the rabbit tagliatelle and the marcapone and spinach ravioli in truffle cream sauce. The ravioli was pure perfection. One of my favorite foods ever! We spilt two entrees - the beef cheeks which were exceptional and cuttlefish which was very good. A shared tiramisu and we walked out sooooo happy. Oh, and they had a nice wine selection, a complementary limoncello after dinner and no “cover charge. Very reasonable prices I thought. If we ever return to Venice it will be my first stop.
During my short business trip to Venice 2 months ago, a friend recommended this restaurant. Since I was on diet, I was worried but the friendly waiter able to suggest several gluten-free options from the menu, that's really great. Of course the food tasted great too. I thanked the waiter before leaving the restaurant, I think a good waiter with a good service deserves that.
This place was recommended to us by the staff from another bar which we visited a evening before. The food is really good! The goat cheese with carrot cream and artichoke Hart is a something out of this world. Also like many other reviews we recommend the Ravioli dish. Simple and delicious! Great ambience, amazing food, great portions, and reasonable price. What more can you ask for? Me and my mom had the ravioli and the tagliatelle w/ rabbit and they were both superb. We took a risk with a passion fruit mousse for dessert (we are Brazilians with very high standards) and they did not disappoint! They have really mastered their flavors here. Best house wine we've had so far and the service was great as well. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Venice
Amazing food paired with great wine. Really romantic atomsphere and the servers are very friendly and profesional. They use headsets to coordinate and you don’t have to wait long for food. I strongly recommend this place.
Nice small restaurant with a small menu. Goat cheese with artichokes and carrot sauce amazing starter. Very unusual, 3 flavours in one dish. Ravioli and cheesecake to die for!!! while being at the table we noticed that the staff were really kind to everyone at the tables. We will comeback for sure.

Terribly misrepresented by photos. Cramped. Hot. TV in dining room. Bad music. And food that was mediocre at best. The one regrettable meal on our honeymoon.

My wife and I had dinner at hostaria osottoosopra while we're in Veince. The food was very good and the service was the best we had during our trip. The waiter and the greeter were very friendly and made it a very memorable experience.
Food was excellent and a great price. The waiter was very friendly and joking around which made for a light hearted meal. Highly recommended. Passion fruit mousse for desert was fantastic.

A bit expensive but worthy. Seems to be specialized in fish dishes but actually this is actually the place where I had the best beef in my life. Beef cheek baked for eight hours on low temperature in red wine sauce. Amazing!
Don't pass this by without eating here. it has the best food in Venice. I saw people eating while I was on a tour and decided to try to find it to have dinner. I am so glad I did . the food was excellent and the staff was great. Put this on you dinner list. A MUST

We really enjoy the food. It was delicious. Everything was off the chart. Moreover, the service was excellent. I paid much more for similar food in Paris or London. You will not be disappointed.
Small quaint restaurant with delightful dishes. The tuna tartare with pine nuts was a special and tasted fantastic with a nice nutty finish. The black ruffle cheese ravioli was cooked to perfection. Highly recommend and a very good price.
Eating in Venice is really tough. It’s expensive and it doesn’t feel real, very touristy. Other restaurants we ate at in Venice were stuffy, and a bit dingy.
Hostaria Osottoosopara is a great place to be sure of reasonable prices for real authentic fare. We walked in and it was cozy, modern, clean, and the staff were very welcoming.
We had a great meal, the 800 year old recipe for Rabbit Rigatoni was excellent. My wife had the Prawns which was also well made.
Service was also comical, fun and prompt.
Also the big beer is a 1lt portion - couldn’t be finished.
Excellent Italian food. Had the pasta with rabbit, the stuffed ravioli with truffle, the sausage, the squid with ink and the beef cheek, all amazing!!
The dining experience from start to finish was a delight. Alex and the owner did a fantastic job of serving our every need. Now to the food, I enjoyed the black squid ink tortelli stuffed with sea bass. It was absolutely fantastic--to the point that I sopped up the remaining white wine sauce with a piece of break. Absolutely the tastiest dish I've had in 2.5 weeks traveling through Italy. This restaurant deserves 6 stars!
Excellent Venice restaurant, and so helpful to be able to book via Open Table. We had the ravioli in truffle sauce which was excellent, and the fish if the day and beef cheeks which were both very tasty and cooked to perfection. Good, reasonably priced wine list. All beautifully served with great friendly staff and very good value, we would definitely recommend!
Carpaccio to start between 2 was plenty to share and best we have had!!
Beef cheeks are a must, tender and melt in your mouth, partner had tuna which was a special, this, with a side was ample. We had desserts, every dish was far above our expectations!!
Worth a visit 100% but book as it gets busy and they were turning people away

What an incredible experience from start to finish. The mussels are incredible. Cooked/steamed in a delicious tomato bisque with crusty bread and a healthy portions of mussels. The tuna tartare is fresh and clean. Make sure to get the truffle ravioli and the beef cheek. Both of which were the best things we had while on our 2 week trip across Italy.
