   Great as usual. Harvest has always been one of my favorite places to eat. For this visit we had oysters, salmon tartar, and burgers. Everything was cooked perfectly and had wonderful flavor.

   My companion and I had lunch during restaurant week. Our waitress was wonderful and helpful. I had kombucha squash soup,garnished with soft cheese and fruit, a delicious and memorable taste. My companion had a seasonal green salad, with little crispy fig pieces . We both had the roasted chicken and colored carrots(yummy) with a carrot sauce which was good but a little bland. Our desserts were a rich chocolate concoction and a tangy little dome of key lime "pie" on a butter cookie...amazing! We sat outside on the patio with a live fireplace and heaters which kept it both cozy and airy. It was a lovely special occasion lunch...Harvest is a local gem.

   sitting outside was very nice. The ribeye was very fatty, and the duck was undercooked. Lastly, when we ordered a dirty martini, there was no “dirt “so all in all it was not the best experience, however, our waiter service and amatmosphere was nice.

   The food was shockingly bad, and I’m not at all a harsh critic. I would’ve been ok if the food was just fine, I didn’t need to be impressed. Salad was too dry, risotto was far too wet, both majorly lacked flavor. The covered porch was lovely though

   Food is usually very good here. But the risotto was too salty to eat. When I told the waiter, he said he'd heard this from others - has anyone told the chef? We had reservations, but I think maybe they wanted our table bc the service was TOO FAST! The starter came with the wine, and then main course arrived within a minute of finishing our salads.

   I’ve dined regularly for the last 30 years and it has always been consistently good, excellent service and good food. Today’s experience was shockingly bad. The waiter was rough around the edges (to be kind), the food was not good, and he didn’t bat an eye when clearing my untouched food or even ask how it was.

    My 14 year old daughter ordered flank steak cooked medium but it was definitely medium rare. She did not want to send it back to be cooked again. My Turkey Club and homemade chips were outstanding. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and the service is excellent/staff very friendly.

    Cannot recommend the prix fixe menu. Salad was only fair and the risotto with sausage was not great. The skate wing was very good however.

    Skate sandwich needed salt and was so stingy that it stuck in all my teeth. The key lime cheesecake has little flavor also.

    We had a fantastic meal on a Monday night. We were in the back, near the fire, very cozy and a nice view of the room. The food was amazing. We started with Brandade on toast and the venison carpaccio, followed by smoked eggplant ravioli and the corn-crusted skate wing. Everything was beautifully presented, the service was flawless. It's expensive (even for Boston), but worth it.

    The food selection for lunch for Boston Restaurant Week was most disappointing. And overpriced for what it was. Service and ambience were good.

    When the fries were delivered I requested mayonnaise, but never received it. The salt and pepper was empty, but no one came to see if we needed pepper for the Caesar salad. Which I didn't receive, it was mistakenly a Bibb salad. The restaurant was very quiet, there is no reason that we couldn't have been checked on at 3p on a Sunday. The waitress did check in immediately after the meal was delivered, and I expected the server was bringing the mayo, and didn't mention it. She didn't come back until it was time to clear. On a bright note, the fees and bacon were tremendous. The patio was perfect.

    What a lovely experience. The cocktails in the small bar area were delicious. The foie gras stuffed quail was amazing, the oysters fresh and crisp, dinner and cheese course equally tasty. The mashed potatoes under the pork loin alone were worth the visit! Wine selection was spot on if ever so slightly above the normal price point with fantastic stemware. Our server was very nice, helpful and kept us on time for our theater curtain. The only slight hiccup was the desserts. While both sounded super yummy and the presentation was beautiful both were a bit flat to taste. We are already looking forward to a return visit! Thank you to Harvest for a lovely evening out:)

    Reliably excellent food, as ever. The dishes were consistently terrific and the room, beautiful as always — even if our table had a left-to-right pitch that spilled a creamer because of its roly bottom. The burger and hot halloumi sandwich were outstanding A few hiccups included a shrieking child allowed to stay at her table a couple minutes too long, a server whose super high-pitched voice was really hard to hear and understand, and the serving of the “torte” (delicious, but not what we ordered) instead of the “tarte” (also delicious). And, I almost forgot, a restaurant manager who so obviously did not care about our report of the slanted table causing the toppling of the creamer — he literally never even looked at us while we explained. A simple nod, a “thanks, we’re aware,” or the like would have been appropriate. Nothing. Weird. On this day, these amounted to a one-star ding. Harvest is typically a slam-dunk five-star experience.

    Date night…. First visit to Harvest. Beautiful setting with cozy table next to the fireplace on a cold, raw evening- perfect! Dinner was delicious - beet salad to start then scallops with red pepper schmear as an entree. My date had the pork tenderloin with roasted carrots. We were both very happy with our choices!

    I really liked the food in this place. I had the vegetarian chili. The portion size was perfect if you have a normal appetite. My friends had the East Coast Oyster, and they said it was not worth its value. The eggs Benedict and Harvest breakfast however, were pretty good. The sourdough bread was tossed in a tonne of butter and fried, this in turn made the bread lose its natural flavor. The bacon was also greasy but crispy and tasty. Overall, we did like the food. Just be sure to not expect eating healthy.

    Harvest always delivers. The 80’s apres ski party was incredible and fun. The food was incredible. Normally don’t have oysters, shrimp, ceviche or suckling pig for apres ski and it was awesome. I will definitely do this next year as well. Best, Jill

    This one of our go-to restaurants. Peter is a great server, with interesting stories. This was a new menu and we prefer the previous one. Oysters on half-shell from VA were excellent. Prices up appreciably from earlier…

    Wine and appetizers were great. The main dishes were a little dry and flavorless for their high price tag. There are better restaurants around for the value.

    Harvest has the quality and atmosphere of an upscale restaurant without being pretentious. I love how there is an unassuming neon sign nooked between a walkway in Cambridge that leads you to this gem. The food at Harvest is seasonal so you can expect fresh and quality ingredients. Service at the restaurant has always been exceptional. When the covered patio is open it's a lovely and intimate area for special occasions or a celebration. Noise level is moderate and prices were slightly on the higher end, however you do get the quality that comes with it.

    We tried 3 starters (winter salad, venison carpaccio, octopus terrine), all excellent, interesting, with sophisticated flavors. Entrees (lamb shank, pork loin in curry) were excellent and substantial, not a spot of food painted on a plate.

    We sat at the bar for a late lunch. It was relatively quiet but service was terribly slow and not particularly friendly. I went on a recommendation from a friend. I probably would not go back.
