   Good food. Good service. Will definitely return but would prefer to do so on a day when there isn't live music. It was extremely loud.

   Upon arriving I was told that the owner had been trying to get off OpenTable for a while. It was clearly not being updated since the restaurant was full and the patio was not open but OpenTable showed full availability every 15 minutes indoors and outdoors. Having said that, the staff went out of their way to find me a table, checked in on me several times to make sure I was comfortable and the service was excellent. The steak tips were over cooked and the mashed potatoes bland, but the tiramisu was delicious.

   The service here is consistently bad— taking an hour to take your order, forgetting things, taking forever, not being knowledgeable about the menu, messing up orders. I realize they get busy with trivia, but then the restaurant should hire more servers to offset the load. The food is also pretty bad and overpriced. I would stick to only wings or any cheap specials, even the fries are disappointing somehow. That being said, they host the best trivia ever and all the faults are worth it to go to the trivia. Wish the menu was better.

   We had a great time at trivia at the Hamilton on Monday. Our server was excellent, and the trivia was exciting. Great way to spend an evening with friends!

   Thank goodness they were open Christmas day! Good food, music was a litte loud for early afternoon. Would recommend.

    We ate on the back patio on a recent warm Saturday night. The service was friendly, the food was delicious, and the setting was great. Keep that patio open as long as you can!

    Our server did a great job considering he didn’t have much help as he was the only one. Short staffed and many items on menu not available. Hostess should have alerted us when she seated us. Flatbread is not a flatbread. It is more like a naan pizza.

    A few of their brunch staples were out of stock (even jam) and what came (drinks and food) didn’t seem very fresh or high quality, like bland cocktail mix and overcooked eggs. Forgivable at a cheap diner but I expected more in Coolidge Corner and at Brookline prices. The server was kind and apologetic, but their kitchen could step it up with very little additional effort or cost.

    We went to Hamilton for Saturday night dinner with our son while we were in town for BC family weekend. Initially, we were seated close to the bar, which was a bit loud for my hearing impaired husband, but when we asked about moving the staff was very accommodating. They couldn’t have been nicer. Our waiter was great and the food was delicious-just what we wanted after a chilly football game. Definitely worth a visit!

    Typical sports bar. Good food. Friendly service.. The rear outdoor patio is very nice. Front of restaurant near bar and huge windows is the best indoor seating.

    Nothing special. The food was alright but not great. I had the mac n cheese which I thought had a weird flavor to it. We ate outside which was nice. The drinks were fine. The service was good. There’s better places to eat in the area.

    Came into town for the weekend and stayed at the Marriott. Asked for recommendations and was directed to Hamilton, walking distance. We sat at the bar and got to know Shanna the bartender LOVED her and her recommendations for food. Ended up back 3 times in 1 weekend!!!

    It was date night for my husband and I. We had a concert over at the Fenway. Carlie was our server and she was absolutely fabulous! she said she was fairly new but had such extensive knowledge about the menu that I feel the establishment has trained their employees well. I am sure that this place is a lot busier when the college crowd comes back but the evening that we went was perfectly quiet and the food was amazing. My husband absolutely loved the hand mashed potatoes, and my brussels sprouts were out of this world delicious with the bacon. We will definitely be back!

    Rats on the patio! At least six of them! And the staff kept seating new tables on the patio even after the rats appeared!!! And the waitress came to greet us with a plate of half eaten food in her hand! AND THEN SET IT DOWN ON OUT TABLE TO TAKE OUR ORDER! Just no. Never again. (Staff we’re all very nice though.)

    Went to Hamilton's on St. Patrick's Day!!! It was PACKED AND AWESOME!! I wish I got the waitresses name because she was beyond great. The food was really good and we loved the band.

    Such a fun time at Hamilton, our server made it a great experience for all 10 of us! Food was great and the atmosphere is casual and cozy. But really our server was phenomenal, friendly, efficient and funny. Will definitely be back.

    This is a regular dining spot for me and many of my friends. The back patio is perfect for enjoying an afternoon in good company with good, reasonably priced food. I recommend the clam chowder; a bowl makes for a full meal. The service is excellent from a friendly, attentive wait staff, definitely part of the reason to return.

    The guy at the front was confused when I told him I had a reservation. He was like at midnight? Yes at midnight 🙄 and told me to just sit at the bar when i had asked if they were still serving food and theyd help me. It was loud sticky and gross. Ew.

    Victoria our server was amazing! The wine was delicious. However the food tasted like cheap take out that had been warmed up in a microwave. There was no flavor to the food either. The dessert options were also very limited… As much as I love Boston/Brookline I won’t be returning.

    This use to be my favorite bar. They use to have a drink menu with unique cocktails named after historical figures, light music and had a really neighborhood bar type feel. This has gone out the window. They had literal children running the front who didn't seem to know what was going on. My boyfriend and I ended up just sitting at the bar. Loud music was blaring, place was super crowded with college kids, one girl was so drunk she was half slumping in her seat and the bar tender continued to serve her! The unique drink menu has been replaced with basic everyday drinks very sad to see. Lastly we ended up having to eat at home because after ordering food and not receiving anything for 30min we asked about our food waited another 30min then were told they did have what we ordered. Place is now trash and definitely won't be back.

    Believe the poor reviews (besides the boneless wings). I needed to get a last minute reservation for a Friday night. I thought it was weird they had so many open times, but yet we decided to come. We probably would have been better off waiting at another restaurant. One of the 3 hostesses sat us in the back of the restaurant and we stayed sitting for about 10 minutes until someone came over telling us we had to move since a large party was going to be sat soon. We didn't want to sit at the bar or outside so we had to wait until a table cleared. During this time, 3 more workers came over to let us know we needed to leave the table we were sat at. WE KNOW, but maybe it would have been nice to at least take our drink order. When we finally sat at the correct table, it was another 10 minutes before a drink order was placed. We split the bottle of prosecco (which is labeled Ruffino on the menu, but we received La Marca) and the server did not open it for us. It was also priced $12 more on the QR menu than the printed one. We all split a bunch of appetizers. The food was dropped by a runner and no one ever asked us how things were until we were done eating so we were left without a few things we wanted. We never received our flatbread pizza, the quesadilla was not good, and the side of mac n cheese we ordered was rang in as a full order. When we pointed the flatbread and mac issue out to the server she gave us attitude (we would have asked about it right away had someone come over soon after dropping the food). The server had way too many tables and there were way too many "hosts" standing around doing nothing. The food was ok. The only way I would recommend coming here is to get TAKE OUT and order the BONELESS WINGS. They were absolutely delicious, but not enough to ever dine here again. This restaurant has so much wasted potential. Maybe Bar Rescue will pay them a visit because the location can't be beat.
