Gucci Osteria da Massimo Bottura
Founder of the three Michelin starred Osteria Francescana in Modena, Italy, Massimo Bottura has created a menu for the House’s culinary destination together with chef Karime Lopez Moreno Tagle.
The seasonally-changing menu is inspired by the team’s culinary travels, global experience, and a passion for art and music, applied to Italian cuisine. The restaurant is also a reflection of Florence’s historical significance as a cultural confluence and creative melting pot during the Renaissance period, an important theme and inspiration for both Massimo and Karime.
The restaurant also offers an ornate private dining room named Foliage, which hosts up to 14.
Wonderful! Amazing tasting menu along with wine pairing. Great friendly staff! Overall experience was delightful.
It was a wonderful experience, the food was outstanding, the terrace has a wonderful view. the service was good and we enjoy the experience very much.
Service easy very slow and not good value for money.
Ambiente ottimo, servizio perfetto, ovviamente cucina non si discute. consigliato
Fantastic food and excellent service in a beautiful location, what more can you ask for. An extra-special treat for anyone visiting Florence. We chose the 5 course tasting menu with 5 matched wines, and each course was beautifully presented and accompanied by amazing wines, expertly described by the friendly and very stylish waiting staff. Could not find any negatives and would also highlight the seamless accommodation of my partners gluten intolerance in the slightly tweaked menu they were served.
We were pleasantly surprised how delicious the food was and the evening as well. They would do well to put a few of these in other parts of the world, especially the U.S.
Great for a special one off occasion! Food and service was impeccable. Portion sizes are quite small but delicious!
Great location, nice service although wine only served after food already 10 min on the table. Nice food but only tiny portions. 4 table spoons of risotto with 2-3 sliced shrimps for 40,- Euros...
We had one kind of a experience! The meal was outstanding and the service was perfect!
Everything about our dining experience met our already high expectations. Really fabulous. We only hope to someday get to Modena to eat at Osteria Francescana. So delicious!
Nice Restaurant they took care of us
And have a special detail with my GF
It definitely lived up to the name. The meals were sublime. 10/10 we will go again
We enjoyed the experience very much. We chose the tasting menu and loved everything. This was a very special evening for us
Overhyped. Limited vegetarian options and little done to accommodate any changes. Waiters forgot half of our orders, which meant one person only got their drink half way through the meal. Overrated not worth it.
The whole experience was excellent, the food exquisit, the service and the atmosphere were perfect, definitely will come back next time we visit firenze.
Menu format was unintelligible even in English. Food was tasty but overpriced. We had to eat afterwards at a different restaurant.
I came to celebrate my 25th birthday and the Osteria did not disappoint. The care and attention taken to every aspect of the dining experience made a simple lunch and experience of pure enjoyment.
Fantastic food, service and attention to detail
Expensive but mostly worth it.
Unique flavors and ingredients, well prepared and presented.
Only the $18 sorbet dessert was disappointing.
Trip to Florence
È stata veramente una bellissima esperienza, abbiamo ancora in mente i sapori e gli equilibri dei piatti (il risotto è veramente senza parole) per non parlare dei tortellini dell’ emilian b, insomma di tutto!!!!!!! Ritorneremo , saluti e buon lavoro!
Traveling through Florence we decided to join a group of friends to enjoy a meal at Gucci. The store was nice to checkout, but had no sizes (as to be expected). The restaurant was beautiful, and the food was excellent. However it was very overpriced for the lack of ambient lighting or music, and more importantly the terrible service. Our server was very nice but didn’t know anything about the food, or wine. When we asked the manager some questions she was incredibly rude, but again, probably as to be expected from Gucci....
Would reccomwnd stopping by the store, don’t waste your time or money eating here, many much better local places in Florence.
We expected an outstanding meal and then it was so much more. Tastes from around the world in the heart of Florence and incredibly attentive and thoughtful service. I have to admit that I thought it would be "touristy", but it turned out to be a unique and unexpected experience. We went for the food, but were equally wow'd by the staff.
I will come again!!!! Soon!!!! All over great, great, great!!
Great for a special occasion, birthday. Great value.
Very expensive for the portion size. More about the brand.
Disappointed about the rush of moving from one course to the other. The overall feeling was that the taboe was booked 90mins later for another couple. I hardly had time to finish the wine of one course before I got the next course served. Not the class you would expect. I recommend you should forbid tourists to take pictures- it looked like a "instagram session" instead of a Bottura restaurant.
It was just awful. It was dead silence inside, server doesn't speak English, not well trained and doesn't know how to recommend the food, etc.
Just awful and annoyed with the service and food portion and quality.
Overpriced food for foreign tourists. Quality ok, but nothing special and not outstanding. Portions are very small. My fish was not warm, potato to it right cold. Waiter forgot to bring the ordered wine. Ambience and stores though nice around it.
Wonderful place and spirit and delicious creative food
The only think: the empty dishes were taken too fast away from our table. Efficiency doesn't always require speed...
Amazing venue, amazing food, a highlight of our trip!
Amazing experience guided by the hands of Bottura, offering a glimpse of sone of his recipes, but expanding the menu with international influences thanks to the executive chef. A unique position in the heart of Florence and the visual mastery of Gucci makes it truly unique.
3.5/4 out of 5. Decent food, need more to be satisfied.
Light, modern, unpretentious. The service and ambience was also fabulous. I’ve eaten at Osteria Francescana and this was as good...
I’m a big fan of Massimo and came to this restaurant with my daughter. We can say this is the best Italian experience of our first trip to Italy
Increíble! La comida espectacular, vale la pena cada centavo, la atención inmejorable, el ambiente lindo y el lugar magnífico, cerca de la galería Uffize. Altamente recomendable si están en Florencia, no se lo pierdan!
Effortless chic. Superb food. Very good service, a little bit difficult during my last visit because of an extremely difficult big table...
It was a cool thing to do and the Gucci everything was amazing. But do not do the tasting menu! It’s TINY! We had to get a slice of pizza afterwards lol. Each course was nice, but honestly each was 3 or 4 bites. It was €80 each and not worth it. I would say, get the lobster roll for €30 or the burger for €25. Much better value.
