   Location incredible, cibo squisito e ricercato, personale molto cordiale ed estremamente professionale, atmosfera di classe e molto elegante con una musica jazz di sottofondo come ciliegina sulla torta…ho fatto un figurone, ci tornerò sicuramente la prossima volta che sarò a Venezia.    All inizio della cena l ambiente era rumoroso a causa di clienti non educati… ma l intervento del maitre è stato risolutivo avendoci spostato ad altro tavolo. Cena ottima. Servizio attento e di livello. Una menzione speciale a Gianmarco che ci ha seguito e coccolato per tutta la cena. Bravi

   Siamo stati l'anno scorso e tutto era perfetto, tanto che siamo tornati anche quest'anno per festeggiare l'anniversario come avevo scritto nelle note. Camerieri gentili ma imbarazzati, giacca sporca e camicia sgualcita. Menù povero, praticamente vergognoso. Nonostante la buona volontà di Alessandro il cameriere al quale va tutto il nostro rispetto, ma non si può pretendere di far pagare alla gente prezzi del genere se poi non si offre un servizio all'altezza, è preferibile chiudere finchè la cucina non ritorni a funzionare come un locale del genere merita. Delusione totale, sarà difficile che ritornerò.

    Beautiful setting and view, celebrated our wedding anniversary and we requested a lovely table on the terrace which we received. Food was excellent, was a little slow coming but it was worth the wait. The staff were very accommodating and very pleasant to talk to. Would def recommend.

    We were disappointed by our table, because despite me booking it 2 whole months in advance (the longest you possibly can book ahead), and saying in the reservation it was for our wedding anniversary, we received a table not even on the main beautiful terrace but on a side terrace, and my husband had literally the ONLY seat facing away from the canal/view, and when we askeed if we could be moved to a table that someone left we were simply told “every table is booked”. I don’t understand why someone who came later couldn’t be seated at our original table. The food was okay.

    Came for dinner with a view. Beautiful hotel and the view is gorgeous, but it’s still not worth the price. The food is ok but nothing compared to some of the osteria’s we dined in during our trip. The prices were high as expected (€300+ for 2 courses and 2 drinks each). I expected more.

    We loved the restaurant! The staff was very attentive and helpful (especially Victoria!), the lunch was reliable Italian classics mixed with creative ideas.. and the location was just unbelievable. We’ll definitely return next time!

    A fantastic location right on the canal. We enjoyed a delicious cocktail in a romantic location. The service was excellent. The menu was short but plenty of different choices. The food was fantastic. Not cheap, but I would recommend it nonetheless.

    Everything about Gio’s was wonderful. The food and the service were impeccable. The staff really knew what they were doing and were very personable. We were seated right by the water and audibly gasped when we were shown our table. Truly one of our favorite memories in Venice. A must if you want to treat yourself.

    seated on the patio during a colder evening. If you asked they would give you a plush blanket to snuggle up in. There were heaters but none close to us as we were in the middle. Food and drink were expensive but what do you expect for a 4 seasons. Wait staff was nice and attentive, however we had mentioned it was a birthday celebration and the only thing they did was wish us a happy birthday at check in. Would have been nice to have a candle on desert or something. Maybe that is too American?

    The service was excellent. They were professional and very friendly. That was very important to us! :) Although the food was expensive, it was delicious. I had a lovely birthday dinner. The staff also sang the birthday song for me. I loved that the staff wished me a happy birthday and even when we went home. Thank you! Grazie mille! :D

    I wanted a memorable final lunch for our trip to Venice and chose Gios for its location. Unfortunately the weather intervened and the planned beautiful lunch on the terrace just couldn’t happen. Felt a bit underdressed turning up in wet weather gear but staff didn’t seem to mind! Overall the food was amazing - perfect burrata to start with. The most incredible duck ragu pasta - probably one of the best things I had ever had the pleasure of tasting and to finish the signature Tiramisu. All absolutely perfect and memorable. The table had fantastic views of the Grand Canal. All in all a wonderful end to a memorable break in Venice and should we return we will be back at Gios - hopefully on the Terrace in the sun!
