Old World Charm with a Modern Twist

Gio's Atlantic Beach is a fresh take on traditional Italian cuisine. We honor our roots while bringing something new to the table, combining authentic recipes, quality ingredients, and genuine hospitality.

With more than 40 years in the restaurant industry, Chef Giovanni Annunziata's passion has always been great food and exceptional ingredients. As the original chef at Matteo's in Bellmore, he helped establish its renowned family-style dining and signature daily specials before bringing his vision to Gio's Atlantic Beach. Drawing on decades of experience cooking throughout Italy and America, Chef Gio creates a dining experience that blends old-world tradition with modern Italian cuisine.

Complementing our menu is a thoughtfully curated wine list and handcrafted cocktail program, carefully selected to enhance every meal. Our team is always happy to recommend the perfect pairing.

From our family to yours,
Buon Appetito!

The food is delicious and well presented. The service is attentive but not rushed. Our “go to” for a special night out.

Went there early 5pm on Thursday. It was quiet because it just opened. Service was good, drinks were not stingy as well. Food was good, although the baked clams were overcooked (burnt) but eatable. The single order of fried Calamari was generous but could use a lager serving of dipping sauce. Main dishes were also good. This is a good place in an area that is an increasingly kosher area that serves non-kosher Italian cuisine single and family style. This is similar to Matteo"s business model, I believe originating out of Don Peppe's in Queens.

Everything was great, but it’s very pricey. For two people it was over $300. So I wouldn’t go back there every week every now and then but I love their drinks. I love the food. It is a good place to go, but if you’re on a budget, not all the time.

Food, drinks & service are terrific. Great spot for couples or large groups. The desserts by the waitress Dinah tops off the night.
