We have been to other Fogo locations but this was our first visit to Tyson’s. The food is always excellent and the variety of sides was diverse. The meat is divine and the service was beyond compare. We will definitely come again!!

Great service and quality of food and cocktails were great
On a very special occasion which was my father’s 80th bday we decided to make it special. Ambience is excellent and decor impressive. From there it quickly went downhill. It was very early in the evening around 4pm with not many diners but yet our waitress barely acknowledged our presence with us having to frequently ask for attention. She was yawning in the background and leaning against walls. Very ambivalent customer service attitude. Three entrees were over an hour late into service with most of us finished with the meat servings and only after my wife alerted them did she barely acknowledge the issue with no explanation. Nor did a manager come to explain or either apologize. Only saving grace was a fellow waiter named Tariq who was awesome. Very attentive, pleasant mannered, and totally made up for the lacking of service. He was the one who actually explained the issue and made sure we weren’t charged for the error. Watch out as the more pricier meat servings never rotate often as the cheaper meats. The plates were never cleared to the very end and overall terrible and frustrating with the lack of attention. Much better dining experiences in the NoVa area to go to.

Experienced Fogo de Chao for the first time with my boyfriend for his birthday. It was very nice, loved the ambience. The experience overall was well. We’ve been to other Brazilian Steakhouses & have been pleased so we finally wanted to give here a try! Our server was efficient & friendly! They came around often with some of the options of meat. We had our “cards” flipped to green while we were there for about an hour & a half & unfortunately were never offered the lamb chops though (which we were really looking forward to, since we’ve heard great things about them). Also, some of the cuts of meat were over salted, almost in-edible honestly. But we still enjoyed ourselves. We may give it a try again & try requesting the lamb chops specifically at some point (if that’s something you’re able to do). If you’ve never been, it’s definitely worth a try for the experience!
I love going Fogo de Chao! The meats are always to perfection and I don't know what it is about their potato salad but it's the best.
Overall very accommodating for my party, food was flavorful however my guest complained that although the table had their cards flipped to green, the servers didn’t come around as often as they would have liked which had them questioning the value for the price.
But i would still recommend Fogo de Chao to family and friends.
Made my dads birthday very special. Our server was the manager who also worked in D.C and he really made sure all of us were well taken care of. During check out they made sure my dad selected his complimentary cake, which was very kind since we did not know they had that option.

Meat was over cooked or over seasoned. Not all the menu items were being offered. It took a while to receive service.
We always want our cuts to be seasoned and cooked to your satisfaction, and we apologize for letting you down. We hope you will not allow this to keep you away, as we would love another chance to earn your satisfaction.
I called to inform the host that I was running a little late for my reservation.
We were sat shortly after we checked in for our reservation. We sat and wait at our table for over 10 minutes before our server realized we had been waiting. It took 15 minutes for our waters to be delivered and another 10 for our actual drinks. I noticed that a few of the guests that came in after us received prompt service and was eating before we even got our waters.
Our server never came back to the table to see if we needed anything, in which we did. I had to flag another server down for assistance.
Our reservation was reserved for 2:15pm and it wasn’t very busy so I’m not sure why we received the service that we did. It definitely ruined our special occasion.
It’s unfortunate that I had to leave this review because out of the numerous times I’ve been to FoGo de Chao, this was by far the worst it’s ever been.

Husbands 40th birthday
I’m not sure what was happening but no meats were circulating for a good 20-30mins. Then, only one server would come out with meat at a time (rare to medium temp only so makes you think maybe they were rushing the cooking due to short staff?). Eventually it increased but by then an hour had gone by and your desire to want to eat was gone. It was very disappointing for it to be Christmas Day, paying that much, and your food service was trash. We normally have a great time here, maybe it was just an off day. It’ll be a while before we return.

Unforgettable birthday dinner @ Fogo de Chao. You need to eat meat quickly before it gets cold. Pumpkin soup is the best. Desert is complimentary for birthday person. There is a wide selection of desserts.

Been to several Fogo de Chao’s and this was an atypical experience. The service was very bad. Our drink orders were incorrect, we were not offered water, our server came by twice during the entire meal. We intimately had to ask a different server for another drink and water refills.
I’ll definitely go back to Fogo because it’s a really great value and is delicious but I will not be going back to the Tyson’s location.

Everything we ate was over-cooked and dried out. Literally everything that was brought by the table. Even the sides were cold…. I would not go back again (we have always had a great experience at Chima and we thought we’d give FdC a try after a long respite).

It took us 20 min to check in as no one was at the front counter. The table wasn’t set appropriately as we were missing tongs for 3 of the 5 settings. The food was mediocre at best…salad bar was missing many items as they continued to run short on food. We ordered dessert and it took 35 minutes just to receive the dessert. Long breaks in between meat servings. Very loud in the restaurant. For $400.00 for 5 people it was a bit disappointing. We will definitely not return.

My girlfriend and I had a lovely late lunch at Fogo de Chao, Tyson's location. It was everything I expected! Great atmosphere, great food, and outstanding service. I especially want to thank Natalie for taking such great care of us. She was awesome, and really exemplified what customer service is all about. We really appreciated her! Staff was super friendly and helpful. We went during the holiday season and they were having a (corporate?) private event. Everything was good until they needed to open the partition wall, it got noisy after that. We asked to move tables away from the noise and F de C staff was happy to accommodate; no fuss.
Our first time at FdC and all four of us were delighted—our elderly mom, our teenage son, my picky-eater husband and foodie me. Our waitress went out of her way to accommodate our various needs. We’re definitely going back for the next family celebration! Keep up the outstanding food, good value, great service.

Service was slow and had to ask for things multiple times.
We go here every year for my team's holiday luncheon, and this is the first time I can say we ere disappointed. The service was outstanding and the taste of the food was excellent. However we were told the $40 full experience included 16 different meats. Well, we actually saw the same three or four meats over and over again. In past years, there was a constant stream of meat being brought to the table. This time there was sometimes a 10 or 15 minute wait to get anything.
Mike, while we are happy to hear that you received excellent service and that you enjoyed the food, we are disappointed to hear that you were not able to try all of the meats. We hope that you will give us another chance in the future to earn your full satisfaction. Thank you.
Casual event with former colleague first time visit. The atmosphere was absolutely fantastic. The service staff was very attentive and responsive to our requests. The lunch experience was idea and food selection, as always, was outstanding. Will definitely visit again.

Our server must have left during a shift change because we never saw her for an hour and no one helped up. I had to call their main line on my cell phone to get someone to help us and to get our check. So much for a 16th birthday celebration for my son. He wanted to leave because it took so long and skip a birthday dessert. He has asked to go every year for his birthday for the last five years and told me after he wouldn’t ask again

I love this restaurant! The service is always exceptional. The food is delicious and worth every penny. The restaurant is always accommodating. The Tyson’s location is my favorite!
Amazing dining experience for Thanksgiving. Great food-even had turkey w/dressing and sweet potatoes as well as the amazing spread of meats. Great salad bar and servers were very attentive. Will be back for sure. Highly recommend.

Went for Thanksgiving. Food was good, but no gravy for turkey and stuffing. Variety of meat was not as good as I expected, so value wasn’t very good. Service wasn’t great as server never came back to take my wife’s drink order. Meat servers did not come to our table as much as usual. Also disappointed that had to pay for parking.
