Every dish on our tasting menu was spot on. We really enjoyed our meal and our waiter was excellent. What a great experience!
Great place!!! Great meal!!! Great service!!!! The best pasta with truffles I’ve had.
We chose Fiola for our 20th wedding anniversary dinner, and let me tell you, it didn’t disappoint. Small dining room, personal, attentive service, yet not cold. Everyone serves with a smile. We chose the ala carte 3 course with dessert. Every dish was delicious. I particularly loved my foie gras. It was amazing! The restaurant sent over an extra dessert and a note to mark the occasion. The chef came out and spent 10 minutes talking to us, which went above and beyond. When I go to Venice, I will be sure to visit Fiola again!
service and food were of very high quality
the wine pairing deserves a lot of improvement - we tried the so called premium option and most of the wines came across as disappointing, a bit mainstream and cheap
overall, our experience was great and flawless, I would strongly recommend the place!
We stayed at the resort to celebrate our honeymoon. Best food - did the premiere tasting. Alessandro was FANTASTIC!
Great food with a spectacular view of Venice. Wait staff up-to-date on menus and wines.
Excellent vegetarian menu. Top quality products, great taste, excellent preparation.
Only problem: the music playlist was some kind of shrill jazz music. Did not fit the surrounding, the atmosphere and was simply disturbing.
It was good but the whole experience was let down by being presented with a bill that indicated that the two bottles of mineral water we had were 10 Euros each.. why do that? Why send people home feeling they had been ripped off
Also, our waitress was a nice girl but not v good
Didn’t bring a wine list and had no idea how to top up wine
She filled my glass too high and didn’t give any to my guest
The prices are very high so you would expect better
And it’s a bad idea spoil it with 10 Euro water
Very beautiful place. Excellent food. Welcoming and gentle service. Overall the best experience we had in Venice.
This restaurant was incredible! Service was the best we have ever had. The food was amazing and wine recommendation was perfect. Thank you!
The food itself was fantastic. I had the tasting menu and all items were great. The menu was fairly overpriced and the restaurant charges 12 Euro per person as a cover fee and 10 Euro per bottle of water. It felt like a lot to pay 44 Euro for my husband and me just to have a table and water. The waiters were friendly but a bit too present and could have checked in less frequently.
Stunning food, great service and although expensive the quality and flavours of the dish were fantastic. The olive oil ice cream was out of this world.
Great for special occasions and for something different to do in Venice. The complimentary boat ride whisks you away from the bustling San Marco area to a calm and serene island just 30 minutes away. It's mostly just people staying at the hotel that dine there (I was the only person there for much of my dining experience - which was fine), but the food and service are both outstanding and if you time it right - you'll see a magical sunset over all of Venice.
Fantastic restaurant. Don’t miss this one. Loved the fresh herbs from the garden behind the restaurant.
Unbelievable service and food....Highly recommend!
Quite small tables for a fine dining restaurant
Food was great. Tasting menu portions were appropriately sized and the courses properly paced. Service both at the bar and at the dinner table was excellent.
This is the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion. The atmosphere was so special, and the attention to detail for the presentation of food was excellent. All the staff were very attentive (Bryan was serving us that evening), helpful and knowledge about the history of the island, how the food is sourced.
The "ferrero rocher" dessert was one of the best i've ever had.
We especially like the ambience of the dining room, the decor and the colour scheme. If visiting Venice we would love to come back.
Truly an amazing dining experience!!! The food and service were remarkable.
Outstanding experience at "Fiola at Dopolavoro". Presentation and quality of food was exceptional. Staff went above and beyond and made us feel very comfortable.
Absolutely a must visit when in Venice.
Attentive, professional, chatty, comfortable service with phenomenally balanced food. Cocktails crafted perfectly - do not miss the limoncello shakerato!
I would recommend this restaurant, with the caveat that there are still a few rough edges to be worked out with the service. Our server seemed more interested in upselling every potential order item rather than figuring out what we might like and offering suggestions based on our input. I also got the impression based on our interactions with the rest of the staff (we were eating on the earlier side) that this is most likely not a staff-wide issue.
I really regret putting this on my review on a public website, I usually preach the gospel
of addressing this privately with the establishment instead. That said, this was our special Easter dinner and I am still frustrated about this experience 4 days later. Please do go for the food and the atmosphere. It is a beautiful location and facility. At the same time, the interactions we had throughout the meal with our primary server got to the point where We just wanted the meal to end so he would stop suggesting things to us that were either in no way what we wanted (because he never bothered to find out) or, I came to suspect, the most expensive things available for that category in order to increase his tip. His offer at the end of the meal to address any concerns we had about the meal (unsolicited, I assure you, as by this point we only wanted to leave) rang terribly hollow, and only served to make me angrier.
Some very good products but the melange of ingredients are not that great. So we were a little disapointed. The price is exagerated also. And the service too talkative.
A must do if you travel to Venice. From the boat ride, to the food, to the service, everything was first class.
Service is quite unstructured, and they aren’t flexible on the menu. The food was ok, not out of this world and we’ve eaten at 1/2/3 star restaurants.
The initial garden tasting experience was good.
However, Their credit card machine failed, and we had to go to the Hotel to pay. In that process, they skipped the Petit four. Not on top of the finer details.
