I love this place bc it’s in my neighborhood and one of the few places that’s not full of drunk kids!! It is always consistent and the service is great.
The restaurant was pretty much empty based on the food we had and service not surprised. Be prepared to spend a ton of money on small portion average tasting food.
Really mediocre for the price. The food was relatively good but not good enough for all the hype or pomp. Seemed a bit corporate, impersonal. Service was no better than a Five Napkin and the food wasn’t much better. But those prices!
I have been to several of the Fig and Olive restaurants, but like this one the best. It never disappoints with surface, ambience, and most importantly the food. I love the way they welcomed me with complementary crostini's and I also love the Olive Oil tastings. Some of my group had not been there before, so we ordered the roasted cauliflower, and the cheese board as an appetizer to share. I wasn't excited about the cauliflower until it came and I tasted how delicious it was. The cheese plate had a beautiful assortment of cheeses, olives, and little breads, and was more than enough for the four of us. We enjoyed two bottles of wine, which were moderately priced. I ordered the lamb chops and they were nicely cooked with a beautiful ratatouille underneath. My friends ordered the beef, and the paella, and they enjoyed their meals. We shared the desserts and had coffee. I was not overwhelmed by the desserts, but they were still good. I love going to this restaurant and of course would go again in a heartbeat. It is beginning to be one of my favorite places to dine. I would recommend this establishment to anyone, either at this location or at one of the other locations.
Our favorite date night and family night spot in the Meatpacking and High Line neighborhoods.
the food was superb. service was very slow. and we were slow to be seated.
Great food and a great vibe!!
Wonderful meal prior to seeing Warhol exhibit at the Whitney. Semi-private room was quiet and everything was delicious from delicious appetizers on polenta crisps, Sea Bass entree and melt in your mouth desserts.
Friends from out of town came in and I took them to my go-to for consistency and excellent flavors. This did not disappoint.
The crostini were perfect and the mushroom croquettes were delicious.
Thank you for a great experience.
Went for lunch. Everything tasty. Service friendly and professional. Large space but well designed to feel intimate.
Out server Noli was awesome. Super attentive even though they were busy.
Service was excellent as was the food. Ambience could be more intimate.
Love this restaurant, consistently awesome with great service!
Slow and inattentive service. The special occasion consisted of the waitress saying happy birthday, hardly special.
Food was not great but service was excellent
Food quality was superb , dinner was wonderful , food cooked to perfection. I had the short rib - melts in your mouth, others in the party had the branzino and salmon- all perfectly prepared. The mushroom croquet- awesome!! Wonderful dining experience. Service was excellent. Will dine again.
I went for my girlfriends birthday, right after she got up to go to the restroom the waiter was talking with me about how we want to celebrate it, I said quiet and later in the evening a candlelight desert came out. Exactly what I wanted and exactly what was delivered. In regards to the food, it was an delightful fusion of flavors, I highly recommend the 6 crostini’s they set the tone well for the rest of the meal. The drinks were the only lackluster part of the night and that is because the garnish’s or mixers tasted a bit stale they were presented nicely though. We will definitely be going back.
We chose the Fig & Olive for my birthday celebration, and we had a great time. I would highly recommend this place, as there was no issue, no problems, food was great and the people were awesome. I cannot wait to come out to eat again.
The food was so mediocre and blah. Please do not believe the good reviews if you are a foodie. I did not have high hopes but this was borderline unacceptable given how expensive it is. Our waitress was not friendly. I would not recommend in a million years. I was embarrassed that I took my friend who was visiting and knows good food. Sorry.
Dliceouse lunch , pleasant ambiance.
Food was cold, very small in portion, and server was impolite. They brought soda that was flat, and asking for another one also resulted into same thing. I would not go there again.
Unbelievable how we were treated. We kindly asked to lower the AC 3 times, but nothing was done until we asked for the manager. Very slow service. In the end desserts were offered to us (desserts that were already paid for since we opted for a fixed menu)....
New Years Eve was a blast!!!
It was the perfect restaurant to ring in 2019! The ambience and service were impeccable. My whole family of 10, enjoyed every dish that came out. We had the new year pre-fixe menu that started with the crab bisque, which was really flavorful. Then I had the tuna and hamachi duo as appetizer and chilean sea bass for main, which were both amazing. We then finished it off with the dessert tasting. We really enjoyed our NYE party because of the quality of food, ambience and really superb service of the staff.
New Years dinner - filet poorly cooked and ruined 3 guests dinner. 2 medium 1 medium well all came to table rare and were sent back. Returning 2 cooked correctly 1 still rare. Manager was nice comped 1 steak but really the whole meal for all 3 should have been comped! Not impressed especially given it was not busy and was the wary seating.
This was our pre New Year’s Eve celebration dinner, and it was fabulous. Daniela was our hostess and she made the night very pleasant.
Always excellent! A true jem in all ways.
Great meal! Service needs improvement
Delicious food in a great atmosphere
Great service! Loved the food!
A great place to take family and enjoy fresh, delicious food. Their in house cocktails were delish and the crostini with choice of toppings were delish. We enjoyed the sea bass, lobster ravioli and filet mignon. Our server was very informative and pleasant.
Lovely! Beautiful interior
The decor and ambiance are very nice and charming, the service is very good as well but food wasn't as good as we had expected, it was Okay compared to the prices you pay for each dish.
Excellent vibe and the food was spectacular.
Great romantic eating atmosphere
A little pricey but great for dating
Wonderful brunch with music.
Food was excellent but service was lacking. Waiter never came to our table we had to get up and get him. Coffee was cold. Bill was wrong .
Good food, nice atmosphere... recommended
Five star experience always and our first choice in the Meatpacking / High Line / Chelsea neighborhoods. Thank you to everyone at Fig & Olive! Our family enjoyed a thoroughly memorable holiday dinner.
Great for a birthday dinner- v nice, yet relaxed, too!
