Three people celebrating a birthday at lunch. The lunch menu offers various specials or one can order off the main menu. The chicken enchiladas were nice with a requested tomatillo salsa. The shrimp enchilada was very good when ordered with cilantro rice and charro beans. And finally, I really enjoyed the chicken fajitas as served with grilled vegetables and soft flour tortillas. Kathy, our server was polite and prompt. We all enjoyed lunch and look forward to our next visit.

Olga is always exceptional service and we always request her when she is available. She knows our family by name.

Our first mistake was visiting on a Friday evening, as it appeared that all the tables had families with toddlers which amplified the already loud din of a packed room. Our second mistake was thinking that staff would know to point out menu issues such as flautas made with flour and not the traditional corn tortillas. At least the pico de gallo had actual jalapeños which other restaurants omit (and why we chose Escalante's). Go again - yes, just not on a Friday!

What can I say? This place was amazing! They graciously accommodated our party of 18 with only two days’ notice after another restaurant canceled on us. From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was incredible, the customer service was top-tier, and the food was absolutely delicious—all at a reasonable price. We will definitely be back!
