   Really loved the milkshakes we got, and appreciated the ambience, but it's too bad we didn't really get a chance to look around. The one thing we didn't really appreciate was the host. We were only 4 mins late for our reservation and he gave us such an attitude about it, even though on your website it says you give a 15 minute window to be late. I understand we were a few minutes late (9:34pm on a 9:30 res) and you guys close at 10, but you can't get mad at us for that. If you expect us to be sat, order food, and be out of there by 10pm, there's no way that's even possible, even if we did show up at 9:30. If you expect people out of there by 10, maybe don't take reservations until 9:30. Maybe do it only until 9pm. If you expect us to rush in and out of there in a half hour, you're nuts. Especially when half of the fun of your establishment is being able to look around at all the cool stuff you have. We had no chance to do that because we felt like we were unwelcome by the host, and he started turning everything off as soon as we were sat. Our server was so friendly and welcoming though. She's honestly was saved us from not returning again. The male host with the glasses though... total snob. If I was running the place, I'd fire him immediately. I even put in the reservation that it's our anniversary. You'd think your host would have more compassion and understanding and treat us better. I've been a supervisor and manager in the service industry for over a decade, and I would never put up that. We'll for sure be back, but only becasuse the server was great and the milkshakes were to die for.

   Food was ok. It seems cheap enough but it adds up quick. That being said I was very disappointed in the 18% service charge added on and then felt obligated to leave a tip as well. I wish I would have known about the additional charge ahead of time. I get the point but I it feels deceptive.

   I always love introducing people to Dons! The atmosphere is just fun and the food is delicious! The milkshakes are insanely delicious and huge! Shareable even! The staff is always a fun time and it's a little small, so noise can carry, but to me it's never an issue. Overall a great experience 🤗

   Very cool, fun vibe! We were here for brunch, celebrating a birthday… perfect place!! Had to order the bourbon donut holes!!! Wow, DELICIOUS!! Everyone enjoyed their entries but even more important the Boozy Shakes are amazing! Our server was so good, even put candles on the donut holes.

   Super cool, definitely will be back! The boozy shake was amazing, the wife really like the mimosa flight. We didn’t get any of the super cool special drinks but they had drinks that come in mini croc pots, mini bath tubs, etc which others around us got and looked really cool. The chorizo poutine fries and burger were soliddddd.

    Funky and unique atmosphere with good food! The drinks and milkshakes were fun and like nothing I'd had before. Reasonably priced and definitely worth it!

    Food was good, fun atmosphere, yummy milkshakes. I would highly recommend for someone who has never been. They were running a little behind when we checked in and gave the kids a few dollars to play games to entertain them. Very good service all around.

    I was recommended this place by a coworker and the experience was awesome! The food was decent but their boozy drinks/shakes were amazing. The overall look of this place was fun and nostalgic. With this being a speak easy I wish the side of the building didn't say that they had burgers, food and drinks. But otherwise a great experience!

    I am so glad we ate here. The atmosphere was fun and eclectic. Our wait staff was attentive and helpful in explaining the menu and drinks. The crockpot Old Fashion's were really good and the bathtub mimosa was a hoot! The Poutine was fantastic, I will be back to have it again.

    Honestly it is a themed place and cool inside, which make it possible to get away with a mediocre menu and food. The boozy shake was great and the service was good, but won’t be back.

    First time visitors and we loved it! Will definitely be back. Not sure if it was the owner or manager, but he kept coming by to check on us. Was kind and funny! Our waiter was great too, super friendly.

    I have wanted to try Don's for a long time, and I'm glad we finally did. The food was excellent, and there was plenty of it. The staff was very friendly. The ambiance was fun, although video game music was kind of loud and really boring if you are not into video games. Our only problem was some long delays in food coming to the table and getting our bill. In their defense, the place was pretty busy last night. No matter; I will happily return.

    It was a fun and unique experience. The staff was friendly and out going. The food was very good. I love the unique but simple choices on the menu. The price was average. I can't wait to go back!

    Fun place food and drinks were great so was waitress. My only complaint is that we were finishing our drinks and the manager basically said they needed our table and we felt rushed out the door.

    Our reservation got messed up. We wound up eating at the naughty angel bar. Waiter was good and very attentive. Our group ordered a variety of food. And drinks. Shakes and drinks were good. Portions were good. Only item below expectations were the soggy donut balls, French toast, poutine, and scrambler were great! Burger just ok,

    First time there, brought a group of 9. They couldn’t seat us anywhere near each other but that wasn’t a huge deal. We had to book a reservation for 4 and a reservation for 5. Where I felt slighted was they automatically charge you a 18% service fee (even on a group of 4) but it doesn’t say it’s exactly for the waitress so you feel obligated to tip on top of that. Fees/tips were $75 on a $250 bill and that feels a little excessive. Not sure if we’ll go back due to lack of transparency on the bill.
