    I really enjoyed the ambience of the restaurant and was looking forward to dinner, it was our daughters birthday. The food was ok. My daughters mahi mahi was over cooked. Not a good thing. My risotto was ok I’ve had better and the crusted grouper was very small and not as flavorful at all. I expected a better experience all around.

    The food was fantastic, the wine superb, and the service kind. It was a wonderful place for a special occasion. It is expensive but it was also when of the best all time dining experiences I have had so it is worth the price in my opinion. Also be prepared to take your time and savor the experience, they don’t rush things.

    Great food and strong drinks, however the service could be faster. Our waitress didn’t come to the table until after we asked for her. We waited 21 minutes. This was almost prefect..

    Service was slow, the food was cooked wrong, took over 30 minutes to get our drinks. Server and manager could’ve cared less. Won’t go back.

    Cooper's Hawk has a wide variety of food options and an excellent wine cellar. The staff is well versed with what is available and what menu item it would complement.

    Cooper's Hawk is quite the experience. I would highly recommend making reservations especially for a weekend evening. If you enjoy wine tasting I would recommend getting to the restaurant about forty-five minutes to an hour prior to your reservation to do wine tasting. For $10 you receive 10 tastings (unless you're like us and wine club members it's no cost). Dinner is great. I would recommend any of the risottos. Valley is also complimentary as parking can be difficult when it is busy. Overall it is one of my two favorite places to dine in Grand Rapids.

    Our meal was excellent. The three of us ordered different lunch entrees - the special of the date carne asada tacos, the parmesan crusted chicken and shrimp scampi. All were outstanding. Service was also above the norm. We will definitely return!

    All food was phenomenal except the very disappointing Reese’s cookie skillet. Cookie was over cooked - hard and crispy. The ice cream did not soften it at all. The pretzel bread was the perfect texture for my liking. Espresso martini very tasty. Short rib risotto was outstanding. The chocolate cake and truffles were also really good. I did not have any wine - but seems like the perfect place for someone who enjoys that. I would go back. The staff was great, including our server. Very friendly, professional, and accommodating. It was a busy Saturday night, so noise level was a bit high - but it didn’t negatively affect my experience. I enjoyed the dim lighting and overall ambiance. Tables are placed very close together, but again, it didn’t negatively impact our dinner. I would consider it a good date night spot or for celebrating a special occasion.

    We’ve been here a couple times but we were disappointed this time. Our server was great but the hostess was a little rude when we arrived a little early for our reservations even though open table said they had lots of reservations still available earlier. We were seated in the bar area even though our reservation was for standard seating. We were fine with it, but then our Brussels sprouts were cold and our entrees were just ok. Probably won’t be our first choice for the next night out.

    This was our first visit to this restaurant. The atmosphere in the restaurant was great- warm, welcoming and comfortable. Wait staff were very attentive and provided great recommendations for both wine and food. The food was amazing!

    I have enjoyed Cooper's Hawk each time I have eaten there. The wine and food are great but the service is exceptional. The menu is extensive.

    We were there to celebrate two birthdays- me and my son! Our waiter Josh did an amazing job. Taking care of our whole family. We are gluten free and ordered lots of food/drinks and Josh never missed a beat! Fantastic food and fabulous service. Thanks for a wonderful experience! We will be back!

    As always, it was a great experience! The food was excellent and the wine was amazing. Brittney, our server, made the experience an 11/10. She was the highlight of the night. We will definitely return.

    We went for our 15th Wedding Anniversary and were very pleased with the service! Very attentive and sweet. The food and drinks were fantastic! We recommend the Lemon Drop Martini for a drink and the Country Rigatoni for entree! We will be back!

    This was our second time here and my wife and I left feeling very disappointed. My wife got the parmesan chicken and it seemed like basic fried chicken with very little flavor. My medallion trios were all cooked at different levels. One was rare, one was medium and one was well done. Our server spoke so quietly that I couldn't hear her over the noise and she offered the most basic service. I like the atmosphere here but it's pretty noisy if you're looking for a nice romantic dinner. We dined around 5:30 before the rush and it was uncomfortably loud.

    Food, wine, and ambiance were incredible. Our server was a little overwhelmed and forgot to bring out water refills quite a few times and also forgot to bring out a wine pairing. She didn’t come back much so we did not get the wine until our food was cold and almost gone. She was so sweet though and doing her best, but for the price of the place, it was a little disappointing.

    Brittany was a fantastic server and the food was really good. We tried to purchase a bottle of wine after and the checkout counter for buying wine had one couple wine tasting at it, only one person was working the counter with several people waiting. After waiting over 10 minutes we ended up leaving without purchasing the bottle of wine.

    Servers are helpful and kind, and very welcoming. The food is excellent, it feels like no matter what you order it's going to be delicious. The wine is approachable and each meal has a recommendation right on the menu, which is great if you aren't particularly wine savvy. The lighting is soft and feels intimate, and while the noise tends to be a little energetic, it never made us feel like we couldn't hear one another. The booths are very comfortable but the tables are a little short if you're tall; I found myself hunched in a bit. Overall, we love this place and will be back many times in the future!

    This was a very nice place the food was good , glass of wine was a little pricey , but the option to be able to taste was good , beautiful on the inside . This was a nice choice for a special occasion , our waitress was slow but sooo sweet .

    Once again, Coopers Hawk did not disappoint. We started with the wine sampling while we waited for our table. The lettuce wraps for an appetizer were very flavorful. Would definitely recommend. Bread was warm and soft. Husband had the grouper and I had the chicken picatta. Both meals were warm and flavorful. The unoaked Chardonnay was great. . Service impeccable. I also had a truffle with the wine tasting. They are made in house and it was soooo good. If you are thinking of dining here give it a try!!

    The overall experience was awesome. The food is exquisite!! Service was top notch! We were not pressured to leave, we could fully enjoy our meal. The only thing I wish is that the music would have been turned down some.

    We were there for almost 2 1/2 hours and saw several tables come and go. It took a very long time to get our entrees. Our server gave us a cup of soup since it took so long.
