   The host was delightful, our server was delightful and the shift manager came around to check in everyone. Wonderful staff. The food was delicious, I wish the portions were a little bigger (salmon entree), but everything was great, my dad and I will return!

   Celebrated a family birthday here and Zoë, our server, did not disappoint. She started with a celebratory glass of bubbles and was very attentive throughout our meal. The food was delicious--salmon was presented well and cooked to perfection; the rigatoni was a sizable portion and delicious! Recommend spot for a delicious evening with a great location and service!

   Do not recommend. Staff seemed to make an effort to make it clear we were an annoyance and inconvenience . When staff did deign to provide service to our table, we were rushed and our questions on the preparation of the food was met with eye rolling. Half the food undercooked or downright cold. Unfortunate.

   Great spot to get an excellent cocktail and a meal before seeing a show. We ordered the beet hummus to start, which was excellent. The Smash Burger was excellent and had a ton of flavor. Our server was very professional and attentive.

   This was recommended to us by an Instagram account and she was spot on. Service was impeccable from start to finish. That stuff matters. Nothing kills a meal faster than a terrible server. The valet greeted us warmly and was super helpful and the host greeted us warmly and sat us next to the fireplace. Romantic. Our server, Blake, was attentive, informative and fun. We started with the charcuterie board as my guy loves them. Conversation's was great. Just the right mix of items. Then we moved to their Butternut Squash soup. That's what we came for and it did not disappoint. I'm glad Blake suggested we rack get our own bowl because we would have fought over it. It's that good. For main, my guy had the pork chop which he deemed amazing. It sure looked it and he proved it was gnawing on the bone good. I had the Flat Iron steak and it was perfect. I could have had sex with the hassleback potato. Only disappointment was the pot de crème dessert. Not sweet and kind of gritty but we managed to polish it off. I took a little off of ambiance because while we were seated next to the fireplace, the lights were so bright I felt like we were on display. It's dinner. Dim the lights. Oh, and we'll be back.

    Nice setting for a hotel restaurant. Small menu, but there were plenty of choices, and what we had was delicious. Wines (by the glass) were also terrific. Service was excellent. Strongly recommended

    Very nice atmosphere and beautifully designed restaurant. Food was plated very nicely however was a bit bland and the only thing that was an appropriately hot temperature, were the breakfast potatoes. Maybe it was just an off morning for the restaurant. I’d be willing to try it again.

    We went here for Valentine’s dinner. They had a preset tasting menu comprising five courses. It was quite delicious. Instead of wine pairing we opted for cocktails and those were delicious too. The ambiance was upscale yet also casual and comfortable. Our waiter was friendly, funny and prompt.

    Food was excellent with surprising flavors you do not expect yet really add to the quality of the dish. Service and ambiance were all conducive to having conversations at a reasonable level. Overall, really outstanding!

    With so few brunch options in Seattle, Conversation stands out as a great one. As I told our server, the level of service we received was better than any we've had in years. The bagel sandwich I had was well done; the egg was perfectly cooked. My wife's Bloody Mary had the perfect level of spice. To boot, they had a guitarist singing in the lobby. Great voice and great takes on past and future classics - the Bon Iver cover stood out in particular.

    We enjoyed a fabulous New Year’s Day brunch on our last day of vacation in Seattle. It was a perfect ending to a wonderful trip. The avocado toast was among the best I’ve ever had. Portions were generous, presentation creative, and all delivered by an extremely upbeat and happy server. Well deserving of all five stars!

    We decided to spend NYE here and tried their prix fixe menu. The food was good, not great. It was a set price per person, so the value wasn’t good. We loved the staff, our server was attentive, polite and overall amazing. We will go back to try their regular menu.

    Overall the experience of above average. The food was good. Cocktails were good as well. I had requested something special as it was our anniversary but they didn’t cater to that and I preferred not to remind them as they were in a rush to wrap up

    Service was great and the food was delicious. We chose the B&B special which was a great value. Our reservation was at 10am and the space was pretty quiet during that time. After 11 is when things started picking up. The only negative part was the standard coffee, it was very bitter and hard to finish.

    We've been here twice and it's a pretty solid place. The food is good, like a solid B+/A-. For instance, the steak was delicious and cooked/seasoned well but then the chimichuri sauce on top was VERY salty which wasn't great. On the other hand, the carrots and potato I had was delicious but my partner's brussel sprouts were bland and under cooked but his lamb was delicious. For the price it's just not quite there. I do appreciate that there's usually a few items that are gluten free/can be made gluten free. Hands down the best part of this restaurant is the staff. The host and our server were awesome. They were just so nice and personable and it was really pleasant. They definitely made the experience.

    We had a fabulous Christmas Eve dinner at Conversation with Jay as our fabulous server. All of the staff were very friendly and engaging. Jay made multiple great recommendations for our curious group throughout the meal. She was lovely to get to know for our brief time there. The food was excellent as expected as were the cocktails and wine. Highly recommend.

    Conversation was one of the few spots downtown we could find a reservation on a Sunday morning ahead of a Seahawks game. This meal did not disappoint. Most of the table got the dungeneous crab bennedict and a Bloody Mary. Both were excellent. We did end up asking for a bit more hollandaise sauce to add to the Bennys but otherwise really a terrific meal. Great service too, and location was right downtown! Would come again!

    All 3 entrees and the starter were wonderful. The rigatoni, pumpkin risotto and salmon all had great flavor and were cooked perfectly. Our cocktails were wonderful and our waitress was so friendly, we will definitely return when in town.
