   Atmosfera piacevole ed accogliente, location molto bella. Dopo giorni di pub e ristoranti caotici abbiamo apprezzato tantissimo questo locale sobrio, tranquillo, con piatti equilibrati ma saporiti. Abbiamo assaggiato il filetto di orata su verdure ed un ribeye steak, entrambi molto buoni. Se siete a Dublino e cercate un posto piacevole, lontano dalle orde di turisti, il Charlotte Quay è ideale.

   We had a fabulous dinner at this restaurant. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is great, and the place has a great buzz in general. Our server went out of her way to order us a taxi and even walked us to the road to find it. The food was fabulous, (portions on the small size but to be expected). I would highly recommend this restaurant. Will definitely be back 💯

   Not many vegetarian options and what was on offer was fairly average food dressed up as haute cuisine. Cauliflower cheese with raisins is as bad an idea as it sounds. The only main veggie dish on offer was celeriac, never a guaranteed crowd pleaser and it was fairly drab.

    Great meal here before going to the Bord Gais theatre. Service was very pleasant and quick so we had plenty of time to enjoy our food and no sense of rushing it. Lots of choice for all tastes. Will be back. .... and next time for a leisurely dinner on its own.

    Another fabulous meal before attending Bord Gais Theatre. Very warm welcome and efficient friendly service throughout our meal. Lots of choices and they had a pre theatre menu again lots of choices. Beautiful food very well presented. I had scallops and short rib both really excellent hubby had sea trout and hake special and chocolate brownie for dessert... All declared delicious. Nice wines by the glass and excellent coffees. Service is warm and friendly. Excellent buzz about the place and great views over Dublin basin. Definately recommend!

    Food was delicious, but no ambience. The fancy views are only seeable from a few seats, there was a loud group outside drinking. Not what I'd expect for the price.

    Great tasting food but portion sizes were rather small- even for European standards. service was mixed- served by 2 ppl… man was not exactly friendly and seemed not pleased there were kids at the table (1 teen) immediately took away menus from kids even tho at least 1 intended to order from there. Woman who served us was however fabulous. Good atmosphere and may return, perhaps over summer as location is on water

    The server was extremely welcoming and considerate. He accommodated my request for A window seat and even brought a heater for my date who was cold that evening. Excellent food and even better service.

    An interesting menu, competent light cooking, plenty of interest for fish lovers. Starter of delicious crispy squid followed by hake and curried chickpea-probably the best hake dish I have eaten in a long while. No room for dessert. Wine list is OK-and quote expensive. Had bottle of fermenting for almost 50 euros which did not taste anywhere near that! Service was really excellent and attentive without being fussy. This is not cheap food, but highly enjoyable and I will be back.

    The starters we had -Special of the day and Burrata- were a magnific experience, full of flavour and aroma. The main ones were not what we expected, instead of increasing the experience it was the opposite, it dropped considerably. The desserts were exactly what we were looking forward. The ambient noise was quite loud which made it difficult to chat comfortably with the person in front of you. The service was very pleasant from the moment we arrived on site until we left. Beyond that I truly reccomend to have some dinner at Charlotte Quay which is a beautiful spot at the Grand Canal Dock

    The mussels served were mostly missing the actual meat only serving shells, where two were undercooked. The service asked if we wanted to wait for desserts and we declined but we waited so long for them to arrive that they insisted we left before we finished our meals properly. The view was phenomenal and the bartender had great service before the meal.

    Service was extremely slow. We waited an hour for our main course. When I asked about our main courses, the waitress rudely replied that ‘the ‘show’ didn’t start until 8:30’ ( this was at 7:50) and that ‘everyone else in here is going to the same show and would all be heading over together with us’ and then she walked off. When we eventually got our food we had to eat it really fast so could enjoy it. I asked for the bill as soon as she brought the mains to the table, as trying to get bill is usually a very long wait in Charlotte quay, and we under time pressure this time because I’d the food delays. The waitress walked by a few times when we finished, at one point she looked at the credit card on the table, but never came near us, despite trying to call her. I eventually just walked up to the bar and paid. We were actually going to the show, but it was rude and arrogant of the waitress to just assume we were, And extremely rude how she spoke to us, she was giving out to us for asking where our dinner was after sitting there for an hour? I go to Charlotte’s quay every couple of weeks, whenever I am going to a show. The food is good but the service is always slow. The extreme rudeness on top of the insane delays has really soured me this time, the location of Charlotte’s Quay is great for An Bord Gáis, but there are other restaurants close by with better service that appreciate the customers. I will think twice before booking here again.

    We were late for our pre theatre booking and the staff did everything to get us out the door on time for the show. The food was delicious, the pre theatre menu is excellent value and the staff are friendly and efficient. Love this place and will be back.

    Love this place for a pre- theatre dinner . Great cocktails and genuinely friendly staff. Best music playlist of any Dublin restaurant - the right vibe at the right volume. Starter of ham and manchego croquette was superb. There's a proper chef in the kitchen. Generous main course with veg sides just right. Quibble: My beef dish was very salty. I'm a low to no salt person and will make this known to servers next time. The will be a next time!
