Thanks for taking care of us and for a really great bit of scran! We all enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. The food all came out piping hot for a table of 7, breads, rice, curries and starters. Big props for the spiced onions too! Great portions all round!

Used to go to the renfield street charcoals and loved food and service. Food not so good this time and glass of wine wasn’t great either. Staff were lovely though

Having been coming to Charcoals for a few years, we booked a table to bring friends who were keen to try it. On arrival noticed decor had changed and was told that they were BYOB only now… we asked if it was the same people who had it and were assured it was the same chefs just new front of house females, which they kept telling us (we thought this a bit strange). Service was friendly however we had to go and buy wine from the nearby Tesco, and the food was certainly not the same as my husband and I ordered our usual favorites. Very disappointed that there were no extra wee touches as there had been before, a BYOB Indian in Glasgow city centre… we now realise why it was a lot quieter than usual, well not be back unfortunately.
