   The little gem salad is delicious. Bistro chicken and whipped potatoes were great. Sushi was outstanding. Service was very attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend BrickTops!

   Server was great in beginning then stopped checking on table halfway through meal and had to ask another server for assistance. Other than that minor hiccup, restaurant was outstanding per usual.

   Second time there when visiting Birmingham. Server was absolutely lovely young lady!! We will definitely be back.

   The service was terrific. Had to send back the Prime Rib because it was COLD and the twice baked potato was very salty. One in the party ordered Steak Frites which I thought came with shoestring potatoes. Because I had ordered Spinach the Frites were deleted. In my travels Steak Frites means beef and potatoes. They graciously accomodated the requests in both areas. A good evening and I would suggest that before a meal leaves the counter verification should be done to see the meal is warm.

   Great chicken Milanese and sweet potatoe casserole divine!! The filet mignon best I’ve ever had and I’ve been all over. Shanghai shrimp was awesome as well as the bread pudding. Servers very attentive and great ambience there!! Will go back soon and I want you to be invited to come try it out as well. You are missing one of the best in BHAM

    I will start by saying I have eaten at the restaurant multiple times and have never had a bad meal. On my waiter’s recommendation I had The restaurants special which was the Sea Bass with an oriental flare that just did not work. The flavor combo was not good.

    Love this place, very retro elegance. Very mid century level fine dining. Food is always wonderful. My personal favorite is the chicken milanese with pasta.

    The bar was out of scotch ( except for very high end brands) and many white wines. Service was slow and uneven. Food was fine when it came.

    Bricktops always a favorite of mine in Tennessee. Birmingham location didn’t quite measure up. Poor service. Food lacking. Was disappointing. Will give it another chance though. Maybe it was a bad day there.

    We have been wanting to try this place for awhile. Every time we pass it the parking lot is packed. We were shocked at how attentive the waitstaff was, helping serve all tables not just their own. We even had different wait staff fill drinks as well as take our plates. We both ordered steaks and baked potatoes and they were made perfect, fast and were delicious! Ohhh and My husband had the lobster bisque as an appetizer and said it was the best he’s ever had. When we were getting ready to leave I looked at my watch and we were in and out and didn’t feel rushed in any way in LESS THAN AN HOUR. We both were shocked. We frequent some downtown Birmingham upscale establishments and have waited over an hour just to see our entrees! We will FOR SURE be back and we’re discussing bringing our adult steak loving children as well. Thanks for a great evening BrickTop’s!!

    We were not super hungry so we split a filet and the kitchen cut it and cooked it horizontally! Yuk! It was thin and over cooked. We’ve split a steak there before and it was simply cooked medium rare and then cut in half. I’ll take the blame and next time we’ll order 1 filet medium rare and split it at the table ourselves.

    My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Bricktops. The service, food, and drinks were all excellent. There was a card signed by the staff waiting for us at our table and a candle was on our dessert, which was a very nice touch. It was a great choice for a special occasion.

    My sisters and I ate brunch and it was absolutely amazing! We were very pleased with everything from the time we entered the door until we returned to our cars. The hostess was professional, the food looked as if it was from a picture out of magazine, and our waiter was very nice and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back!

    Excellent food, great service, good atmosphere. Bricktops is a dynamic restaurant with top quality food and really good service. The menu is extensive enough to offer more than the standard choices, without being overwhelming.
