Blue Ribbon Sushi is a vibrant Japanese restaurant and sushi bar located near Fenway Park in Kenmore Square, serving outstanding Japanese cuisine based in tradition and passion, including nigiri, sashimi, and chef-crafted maki rolls, all made with a selection of fresh fish flown in daily from the Sea of Japan, the Pacific Ocean, and local New England waters. The sushi bar selections are complimented by grilled mains including A5 Wagyu offerings.     We were there for our daughter’s graduation celebratory meal and we could not have been happier. The food was delicious, the service was exceptional (including complimentary mocktails and dessert), and the servers all went out of their way to create a wonderful welcoming atmosphere. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough!

    It was our first time at Blue Ribbon. The sushi was delicious and they had a nice list of appetizers. The waitstaff was most attentive and on top of our needs at the table. It was nice not having to chase a server down. The dining room was also open yet quiet with side booths. Definitely worth a trip back.

    First dining experience here using $100 Chase credit while staying at the Hotel Commonwealth. I'm not sure I would have dined here otherwise, but we had a very nice meal. Our server, Marc, was very attentive and patient while we decided on drinks and food. He even surprised us with a complimentary dessert after our dinner. The sushi was very good, although I did feel the maki roll pieces were smaller compared to when I eat sushi in Portland, ME near where I live. My husband enjoyed his sake and my cocktail, Freddie, was smoky and spicy and well balanced. Given it was a Monday night, the place was packed, but the noise level was not a problem. Thank you for a nice dining experience!
