   I was disappointed with Barrio’s. The service was slow and the food was cold like it had been sitting for awhile. I suggest skipping dinner and just come for drinks and appetizers. The food was really a let down. There are better places in the city.

   We always love their fajitas and queso fundido and our server, Quincy, was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our drinks and meal.

   The service was great! We had a reservation and were seated right away. Our server was very attentive and the manager (I think, Lisa???) was super friendly visiting with guests and checking to see that everyone was satisfied. She found out it was our first visit and brought us a special treat to end our meal! My husband had the lamb tacos with street corn which he said was excellent, I had the short rib chalupa which was piled high and had great flavor! We also had guacamole which was so delicious and creamy and huge portion. I had the house margarita and it was excellent. The pineapple tres leches cake was phenomenal. Highly recommend and will return to try more in the future!

    Have loved eating here in the past. Today was terrible! Paid $12 for cheese enchiladas that were served cold and didn’t have a lot of flavor! I won’t be back, so disappointed

    Awesome service! I accidentally left without my Togo box and the sweet blonde girl at the front just so happened to save my box. Our server was so cool and recommended the salmon over enchiladas because I couldn’t choose and it was pretty good!

    Another visit to Barrios. Food is always excellent, service is always attentive. Except this time, something that was ordered did not arrive. However, we were not charged for it either and after starting our lunch, it was apparent that the extras would have been too much anyway. So, no harm, no foul. Only thing I can ever say about Barrios is that it's so loud in there. Not the conversations, but the music, which sometimes includes 80 heavy metal.

    First time here. Pleasant surprise with all the incredible flavors. Start with the fresh chips and Salsa and a couple of Queso Fundido: WOW. Queso could be a light meal by itself. The rest of the food we shared was amazing: Fish Tacos, Fajita beef Quesadilla, Fajita chicken Quesadilla, Roasted Sweet Potatoes and Brussel Sprouts, Jalapeño cornbread with Tomatillo jam, Chihuahua & Oaxaca Cheese Enchiladas, Roasted Chicken Enchiladas and it was way too much food for the 4 of us. But we happily brought items home. Liked it so much we came back a few days later for a family birthday. Again, the food is incredibly done. Flavors complement and are not to spicy. Really addresses the complexities possible with Mexican food.

    My dad raved about his chalupa and all of the food was great. The queso came out just a few minutes after our food (not a big deal) and the manager came to the table, apologized, and comped it. A nice gesture that wasn’t expected. The food came out quickly and everything was fresh. We will definitely be back!

    First time and loved it! We had the fish tacos, shrimp fajitas, guac and queso fundido. Also, tried a Sangria. So, so good! Everything was delish!!

    Service was a bit slow. Had to get another server to pick up our credit card when we were ready to pay. He may have been new. Just didn’t seem to be as knowledgeable about the menu as other servers have been here in the past. Food tasted fine but was just lukewarm. Drinks were fantastic, as always. It was fine just a little below the bar that has been set in past visits.

    I have dined at Barrios several time, and every occasion has been a wonderful experience. Yesterday, we were there to celebrate a birthday. We ate on the patio, and it was lovely. The food, as always, was perfection. I had the skirt steak quesadilla, and my dining partner had the salmon. Both meals were delicious; the staff was welcoming and fun, and waiter Makala was attentive, friendly, and made sure our every need was tended to before we even asked! Needless to say, Barrios made this special night very special.
