Food lovely, I've not sat in the upstairs before so felt a bit canteen like with people coming in and out of the kitchen beside us all night. Would prefer and downstairs table! Staff great abd attentive. Food very very good. Will definitely be back

Poor Service - The manager prioritises walk ins over bookings made online. Please be aware if you book in advance your booking may be oversubscribed and you may not have a table.

Always a bit hectic here but the food is very good. More like a takeaway with an afterthought to put a few seats out and voila a small restaurant. Service is average and it seems that sometimes the take away biz seems to be ranked higher than seated customers or maybe that's just me. Make your own mind up. However, still worth a visit though and handy for Finnieston and the west end for a carry on for an evening of merriment or a pre theatre curry. Recommended 😋

Friendly efficient service, food arrived quickly and was delicious Haven’t been to this Ashoka for a long time but will be back again soon

Staff were excellent and friendly. We were attending a concert at the hydro and service was bit slow so main meal was rushed but overall would recommend the Ashoka.
