                                                              American Kitchen | Renaissance Orlando Resort & Spa Great Food, Wonderful Hospitality, and Those Prawns! Oh, Those Prawns! After spending long days working in Orlando, American Kitchen, located just off the lobby of the Renaissance Orlando Resort & Spa, became our little sanctuary. A good cocktail, a delicious meal, friendly service, and wonderful conversation. Sometimes that's exactly what you need to unwind after a demanding day. And let me tell you, we certainly ate our way through this menu! Over the course of our stay, we sampled everything from the bao buns and bacon clothesline (what a presentation!) to the Floridian salad, tomato salad, and black squid ink pasta loaded with seafood. There were some genuinely impressive dishes coming out of this kitchen. But the absolute showstopper? The head-on prawn scampi! Good heavens, those prawns were enormous! Beautifully presented, swimming in an absolutely delicious garlic sauce, and accompanied by toasted bread that was perfect for soaking up every last drop. This was one of those dishes that makes you stop talking for a moment and appreciate what's in front of you. I enjoyed it so much that on a couple of evenings, I ordered nothing more than the scampi and a salad. Perfection! The coffee-crusted steak was another standout. Beautifully prepared, wonderfully flavorful, and paired with broccolini. A satisfying meal that absolutely delivered. One morning, when my work schedule allowed for a leisurely breakfast, I enjoyed brunch with a colleague. What a treat! The Belgian-style Liège waffles, with their signature pearl sugar, were delightful, and the eggs Benedict and fresh-squeezed orange juice made for a lovely start to the day. It's not often I get to slow down and enjoy breakfast while traveling for work, so I appreciated every minute. I also had an opportunity to dine poolside, where the steak nachos were delicious. I even traded my usual Sidecar cocktail for Tito's vodka and freshly squeezed grapefruit j

                                                              The restaurant was understaff, the food took forever to be serve and the dessert were mediocre. The server was great. However, it was him and one more lady in the whole restaurant and he was also the bartender. They were slammed.

                                                              Waiter seemed angry to be at work - impatient and rushed us. Then disappeared and we couldn’t get our check. Food was overpriced for vey small portions. I had to go eat dinner after my dinner there.

                                                              Open table allowed me to book this restaurant and they weren’t open for service yet! I was traveling and paid for an u we ride to the restaurant and it wasn’t open! My review rating does not reflect the restaurant since I actually didn’t dine. It simply is to let OPEN TABLE KNOW you messed up!
