   Acropolis continues to be a BLAST! Our server, Jason, was probably the best server I have ever had... ever. He was interactive, knowledgeable, energetic, attentive, funny, thorough and appreciative.

   I actually enjoyed this restaurant. My wife had the hummus and the mussels. She thought the mussels were good, but he sauce was a bit thick. I ordered several appetizers and they were delicious. The young lady waiting on us was very attentive and listened very carefully to our requests. I like this spot and would come back.

   Whenever in the Tampa area we have a meal at Acropolis. Very specifically the one in Ybor city! They have the best food, best atmosphere and best service. Can’t wait to come again!

   What is wonderful about this restaurant is the freshness of the food. The grape leaves were the best we’ve ever had and we have tried Greek food all over the world. I love the myriad of vegetarian options for myself. We always eat here on our visits to Tampa. Ybro City is the most vibrant and fun part of our Tampa visits. You won’t be disappointed if you dine here. Delicious and fresh!

   Fun atmosphere with lively music and belly dancer on Saturday evening. Even had the all the servers dance to one famous Greek song. Typically don't see the male servers join, but this restaurant includes all servers. Very fun to watch! Delicious starters and entrees. We tried the humus, salads, moussaka and pasta Santorini. All dishes were family size portions. The Santorini drink special was amazing as well . Great meal. Excellent service and nice to see the manager walking around and greeting patrons. Highly recommend and plan to return on my next visit to Ybor City.

   The appetizers were very good, but the entree (chicken platter) was dry and I thought it came with greek potatoes but it was french fries with feta on top. The service was very good.

    We came on Valentine’s Day and this location didn’t disappoint. The waitresses handed out a rose to my date and I had the restaurant themed with cute heart balloons definitely would recommend.

    Very good service experience. We had reservations and was seated promptly. Our server was very attentive and personable. The manager made his rounds and greeted everyone. Overall, a very nice experience.

    One of our entrees came out cold…like frozen cold. The server seemed stretched way too thin and/or very distracted.

    Ordered a reposado tequila, was served a blanco. The server agreed and replaced, not a big deal. Pastisio entree was room temp and grossly overcooked/reheated. Accompanying vegetables were the same. We sent those back to be reheated. Baclava dessert was ice cold! Restaurant was half full. Way too loud music playing.

    Even being completely understaffed, our server, Greg was kind, he kept his sense of humor about him, and was eternally patient. The noise level was the only thing I had an issue with the music was very loud. And just due to having hard floors, the sound bounces around even more.

    All dishes came well seasoned. Octopus was a bit too soft for our taste but wasn’t mushy. The tomato sauce was outstanding! Greek salad was fresh and delicious. The Acropolis seafood over rice was out of this world! We haven’t had a seafood dish this good for a long time that we finished it before the appetizers. The desert was a nice finish for this memorable dinner on the Christmas Eve. Plus, the service was friendly and the ambiance was festive. Will definitely go back when we visit Tampa again.

    We were a party of 4 for lunch and the place was basically empty. I ordered a grilled veggie salad. The presentation was not appealing . The veggies looked and were soggy, drenched in a tasteless dressing. My husband ordered a gyro and it was not good. I have been to other locations and the food has always been fine. Maybe we hit the place on a bad day. Anyway, I’m not returning to this particular restaurant.

    Myself and two friends decided to eat at Acropolis because of how delicious the food looked on another occasion when I walked by the restaurant. Coming from NJ, it’s been very difficult finding a restaurant that serves delicious fried calamari. Well let me tell you, it was the best in Florida. Tender and fried until golden brown. Two of us ordered the lamb chops, here’s where things got funny. My friends chops came out thick and cooked to her liking. Mine on the other hand came out like they were run through a meat grinder. Thin and half missing. I couldn’t believe this was allowed to leave the kitchen. I called the waitress over who apologized and brought them back to the kitchen. She even sent the manager over who also apologized and made sure things were taken care of. When the dish came out (within a few minutes) it was perfect. The lamb was cooked to the temp I asked for and seasoned perfectly. They were served with delicious roasted potatoes. My other friend (her first time at a Greek restaurant) ordered the moussaka and loved it. Overall we had a great dinner and would definitely go back.
