All the items we chose were delicious
We have been many times and we will return again
Great food, drinks, and service.
You know when you find one of those places where you know (A) the food is always good, (B) the service is also consistent, (C) there is something on the menu for everyone and (D) the price is definitely fair for what you get?
Well, this is the place!!! I really love it here and I've never had a bad meal or bad experience. It's definitely my go to place for any meal whether I'm going with my family or taking a client out to lunch or dinner.
Whatever you do, make a reservation!!! I can promise you, you will always have to wait unless you make a reservation.
Bruschetta was amazing as was the lasagna and mushroom pasta. Rib eye was enormous and an great price for the size. Pork tenderloin was a bit under cooked and underwhelming but the pasta made up for it. We will return!
Server awesome...beautiful restaurant and open kitchen...food excellent...comfy booth...music too loud
My boss and his party had a wonderful Salmon Caesar Salad each, while overlooking the canal. They enjoyed the ambiance, the food, and their seating very much. It was perfect for a casual business meeting and my boss was very pleased to show it to his out-of-town guest!
Being seated on the patio made this a wonderful and comfortable evening. Excellent server.
Main courses not exceptional.
Interior noise level would have been very uncomfortable for our quartet.
Awesome place to eat. We made reservations the night before and that is the way to go.
No waiting and we sat on the patio which we wanted. Awesome food for all of us.
Our server was exceptional! Thank you for the great service ;) and delicious food.
Excellent salads and the grilled chicken was fantastic. The lemon pudding cake was delicious. Had a great time and staff were friendly, helpful and efficient.
We fly in from Dallas to go to Scottsdale. We were recommended this restaurant. We absolutely loved it! The food was excellent. I had the chicken meal. It tastes like a thanksgiving dinner. My husband loved the ravioli! Our waitress was Jill. She was great! Always refilling our glasses and great service. It was our anniversary. She brought us a wonderful cheese cake. We sat on the patio. It was a beautiful night. They had a light show found on around the canal. We will definitely be back!
Fantastic food and service as always!
Good service. Good food. Nice atmosphere!
Very well done. We sat outside and it was beautiful.
Amazing Ambience! Fabulous Food! Excellent Service! Perfect Weather!
Service was good but food was cold when it arrived at the table.
Awesome, that's it!
Landis was our waiter & his suggestions as to what to order were perfect. If I were to go there again I would definitely ask for him. We had their lemon pudding cake for dessert & it was marvelous. The Mediterranean salad was nice as well as the truffle flat bread. Plenty of Shrimp was in the salad with a nice salad dressing. It is a very pleasant dining spot.
This was our second visit. We usually stop here after SkyHarbor. Great vibe here. Food is expertly prepared. We enjoyed the bruschetta assortment appetizer. Bread with pesto sauce arrived thereafter. Delicious. We all ordered salads and they were fresh and unique. I tried the Cobb and my guests enjoyed the Kale. Our server was OUTSTANDING! She was extremely knowledgeable and efficient! Looking forward to our next visit. The previous visit, I ordered, Sea Bass. It was wonderful!
We had delicious Sunday brunch. The restaurant was beautiful and the service was exceptional. I had the artichoke heart frittata, a cafe latte and bites of a chocolate croissant and cinnamon roll. I can’t wait to go back the next time I’m in town.
Service and food quality were severely lacking.
Waited nearly 10 minutes for a server to introduce himself after being seated. Initially offered to take a drink order and did not discuss the menu. Had to ask if server would take our appetizer order and one app was bright with the meal rather than beforehand.
Food was “eh” and ingredients weren’t paired well as well as poorly seasoned.
Nice ambiance and location - that was about it.
Server- amazing. Good amazing. Open air. Was a beautiful evening
Very noisy BUT service and food fantastic!
As always, great service, great food and outstandingly ambiance on the patio.
First time I've eaten here. A little pricey for lunch. However, the prices are a match for the serving sizes. My only suggestion would be to make the portions a little smaller & reduce the prices proportionately.
I travel for work. I didn't see anything that really stood out.
Best restaurant in old town, based on food, atmosphere, service and location
Food was excellent and consistent.
Indoor dining was a bit noisy so we were moved to the outside dining which was GREAT.
Great patio dining
Just ok. We’ve been before and had better experience. Order messed up and not complicated. Manager came over and made appropriate offers and apologies.
We were told upon our 5:00 arrival that they needed our table by 6:30. We placed our drink, app and dinner order at the same time. We waited an hour for dinner to arrive. Then there was a mix up in the kitchen with our dessert. The waiter assured us that he spoke to the hostess and all was well. Into our second bite of dessert the hostess arrived telling us we could move to another table to “relax” . Our credit card was sitting on the table so she could see that we were not the problem, yet she wasn’t compelled to take it to our server. I had the sea bass entree. The dish was delicious however the cauliflower and purée underneath was ice cold.
Not a good experience for my birthday.
I made a reservation and arrived about 5 minutes early. We were immediately seated, but nobody came to our table. After about 15 minutes, we flagged down a hostess to find out if we were ever going to be served. We finally got some water and drinks and found out that there was only a limited brunch menu until 5pm. Very disappointing. The bread and short rib flatbread were very good, but we really there to have a larger selection of Italian food. It was a good thing that we were planning to go to Lou Malnati's later or this trip would have been a total bust. I would not recommend to go here on a Saturday afternoon.
Unfortunately we dined on a Saturday afternoon and experienced the Weekend Brunch menu. If you are not there for the breakfast hour the menu has nothing special to choose from. I should have asked if the Monday thru Friday lunch menu was available but I did not. All four of us chose a different item and they were all fair at best.
Love this place!!! Always a great time.
Great food - really had fun
Have been to olive and ivy so many times, along with many of the other FRC (Fox) restaurants, which head up a list of my favorite places in town. Never disappointed. You can’t go wrong!
Olive & Ivy was great! But we are not getting our Open Table dining points added to our total points. This has been a problem the last 3 dining reservations, maybe more!!!??? How come. We have not moved up from 1100 pts!
Beautiful ambiance, especially with the patio open! Food was delicious, we had the bruschetta, short rib flat bread, salmon, salads and dessert. Highly recommend for any occasion. Fresh bread and pesto is amazing.
Every time I dine here, the food and service are great. I would like to see the hosts be way more friendly. We are always met with such rudeness- The staff seating the guests are almost always put off by having to seat us.
Menu is fairly limited. Not really the Mediterranean experience you expect. The charcuterie platter is ridiculous at $21 as it's half full of bread. The lasagna for $18 was in a small bowl, more like a lunch portion. While the food was good the experience made us feel empty.
The staff were nice and friendly, and the booth we scored was wonderful. But the last time we were there I ordered the Mediterranean Salad with quinoa instead of couscous because I am gluten sensitive. But this time the waiter said they don't have quinoa. Don't know if they were out or if they changed their chef. The suggestion was to just leave out the couscous which was fine. I asked for shrimp and if they could lightly grill the shrimp. The shrimp was hard as a rock. Still edible, but not great. The salad was still good, but these two things dropped my rating from outstanding to very good.
