Located at 699 14th Street on the coveted corner of 14th and G Street NW, La Grande Boucherie is situated on the most high-profile street in Washington D.C., just one block away from the White House. The restaurant is built in elegant and ornamental Art Nouveau style, evoking the sense of optimism from the turn of the 20th century. The brasserie’s menu features both classic and modern French dishes, with focus on the meat program, raw bar and extravagant large-format meats, ideal for sharing and celebrating. Mahogany wood and glass partitions divide the gargantuan space to create intimate dining experiences. These pieces are adorned in gilded accents and uniquely curved arches inspired by the 20th-century Art Nouveau movement of Paris.     The restaurant is nice but very small. The service was amazing but the food, ok. Th3 shrimp and grits was not what I imagine. The ends were on the grit smothered in gravy I think and there was no season to it. I will not order it again. I saw it being served on Housewives of Potomac and the plating was completely different. On the show the grits were served on top with no gravy. I will try something different next time.

    It's always a fun evening at Cuba de Ayer whether having old favorites like Picadillo or Ropa Vieja or trying Pernil or pollo ala plancha. Start off with a mojito and croquetas. Be sure to order your plantains sweet or crunchy and enjoy the best black beans and rice north of Miami. If the menu is new to you just ask a friendly server for advice.

    This was my first time at milk and Honey. They honored my reservation time and seated me quickly. The staff was very responsive to making sure that we had a good meal and that everything was excellent. My food was delicious, I had the biscuit with spicy fried chicken and cheesy eggs. I brought home enough to eat it again for breakfast tomorrow. I will definitely be coming back and trying one of their other items. My friend, had the shrimp, po boy and was equally pleased with the taste of his food
