   The restaurant was ok. We didn't wait long to be seated. The server came about 10 minutes or so after us being seated. We ordered our drinks and food. I ordered a bowl of gumbo and the crabcake entree. The salads came and they were pretty good. The entrees came about 30 minutes or so later. The waitress did apologize for the wait. My crabcakes were in a thin sauce. They were good and crispy on top but soggy on the bottom from the sauce. The flavor was good though. I thought the crabcake entree would come with a side but it didn't. My husband ordered a steak. It was bland. Service good and the food was just ok.

   We celebrated Valentines Day at Mikey’s and it was a wonderful experience. Everyone loved their meal and the service was friendly and attentive - overall top notch!

   The servers friendly and quick. The salad and little red potatoes were good. The steak was a disappointment. It was tough and had no flavor. The triple chocolate cheese cake was very good. A lot of money for a mediocre entree'.

    Gumbo needs help - roux was too dark, not enough seafood in the bowl. Way to thin. Shrimp and Crawfish pasta had no flavor. Snapper with Macadamia Nut crust was good. Our server was attentive

    We stumbled onto this because of open table and were so impressed with it. Also, we are thrilled to find out that there is another location even closer to our home. Would highly recommend. We were told the Hoover one we attended is quieter and has more of a causal elegant vibe w the food slightly altered from the more pub style flavor of the one near Helena. Can’t wait to try the other.

    Honestly it’s my fault for setting the reservation later in the evening. They were out of multiple menu items and didn’t tell us until we tried to order. Grouper meal was subpar. Filet was under seasoned. Crab cake was delicious as always. Rarely do I leave a restaurant before I’m full but without the appetizer and dessert in stock this New Year’s Eve meal was unfulfilling.

    I ordered the blackened ribeye special and ended up with a NY strip steak that had absolutely no taste. Disappointing for $40+ both my son and I did not eat our salads. Both were a ton of shredded lettuce two onion rings, two pieces of cucumber and three Tommy two tomato’s.

    We chose the restaurant out of convenience, as it was close to our concert venue. I walked in and saw the Diane Milsap art all over the walls, and knew I was good hands!! The waiter told us they don’t have a freezer and only use fresh seafood and ingredients and it showed. If you love New Orleans cuisine, Mikey’s Grill will not disappoint. 🙌🏻

    The food was outstanding. We had an appetizer of okra, and some of the best gumbo that I’ve had in a long time. My wife had a ribeye which was prepared well and reasonably priced and I had a daily special featuring crawfish tails and tuna it was excellent. The dinner was delicious and the value for the dollar was outstanding.

    The food was excellent. Crab cakes never disappoint. They are perfect every single time. I had the ribeye with lump crab meat, potatoes and spinach. The spinach literally melted in my mouth and the potatoes were divine. The steak was cooked perfectly. It was all delicious.
