Loved the ribs and duck! Thought their sauces were slightly overpowering. The panna cotta and tuile were delicious! My last bite of tuile was a bit greasy but nevertheless I feel humbled by your glorious creations.
Service was great, wine was lovely but the food and general vibe left us wanting more
Everything was great. My husband and I were celebrating a big anniversary and they surprised us with a few treats throughout that made the occasion even more special and memorable. The food was delicious and the staff very attentive. Would come back again to try the tasting menu (we ordered a la carte dishes).
10/10, delicious food, great ambiance, everything on point
Awesome food, great service and a nice decor. The restaurant was crowded but we didn’t feel packed in.
Visiting my son who just moved to Brooklyn
The woman at the front desk apparently so needs to exert some power that she creates drama that is odd and unnecessary and would be comical if it were it not so offensive. As a result, you begin the evening wondering what other strange things are going to happen. The food and the room prove to be fine, but it seems like they want to be more casual than fine dining and more elevated than farm to table and end up like the hostess, putting on airs in shorts.
Overpriced. Not bad. Service was lacking.
The dayboat scallop dish was one of the best things I've tasted in a while. Everything else I tried was good, too, but I'll be thinking about those scallops for a while. Enjoyed a lovely intimate birthday dinner there with a few close friends.
Everything was great -- from our first appetizer to the final dessert. The food was fresh, creative and nicely balanced. We started with the Shishitos peppers, paired them with Manhattans, and ordered some crispy baby artichokes and spanish octopus. Then we had the pappardelle & chanterelles that a was terrific. We ordered the spiced duck for the main course and it was fantastic. We finished with blueberry buttermilk buckle, and it was the perfect end to a wonderful evening.
Loved our server she was the sweetest
One of the best meals I can remember having. We came for our wedding anniversary and the staff was so sweet. Truly unique and delicious food- we had the tasting menu and it was divine!
Was disappointed. While food was good was not exceptional. Truffle pasta had little flavor. I ordered 3 appetizers and all came out at once.
Amazing food. Great layers of flavor.
Burrata and baby artichokes were great. Duck and salmon prepared perfectly.
Had a really nice brunch. Food was great, cocktails were yummy. Staff was friendly and patient.
Nice space, great food, good service. However, I don't think it really justifies the 1 Star Michelin. But maybe because I'm used to European standards of Michelin star restaurants. Good price / quality however.
The food and service was outstanding. Our evening is one that we will remember for a very long time. We will certainly look to Meadowsweet when we celebrate a special evening out!
A+ for service but a solid C for food. While nothing was bad, nothing was amazing either. Everything we ordered was all very vanilla and uninspiring. I had expected more from this restaurant as far as flavor and creativity. If you're taking someone out who is cautious about trying new foods or flavors, this is your place, as nothing is really all that surprising and is truly quite predictable. If you're going as someone looking for new and exciting, this isn't your spot. Again though, the service was top notch and I give them credit where credit is due!
We were a party of 6 with Sunday evening reservations. Since we were hoping to host a rehearsal dinner here, we wanted to taste as much of the menu as possible. So, we ordered almost every appetizer, several entrees and all the desserts on offer. Everyone tasted everything and there wasn't a bad bite to be had. I have never cared for duck, but the duck we were served was delicious. Anything fried was light and crispy, the salads were creative and dressed with a just-right hand and I think the flourless chocolate cake was the best I have ever eaten. One of my favorite dishes was the vegetarian spiced eggplant.
Service was excellent - knowledgeable about the food, attentive and prompt without any hovering or rushing.
The restaurant had a nice buzz, but it was easy for us to converse at our table without the need to shout or raise our voices.
Finally, the prices are reasonable - especially considering the high quality of the food.
To say I highly recommend this restaurant is an understatement.
The food is awesome!! Drinks as well. On the expensive side, but overall good.
The food was delicious
The Nero pasta is to die for, best I have had so don't miss it. Ribs were good though a *bit* saucy for my taste, but still good to share. Solid wine pour, only needed 1 glass for the meal (rare!). Last but definitely not least the bread and whipped Italian butter is absurdly good - thankfully they only served one bun or I would have eaten myself to death. Great place.
Don’t walk to Meadowsweet’s brunch- run!
-I’ve never tried anything there I didn’t like
-super friendly and sincere service- it’s clear the team there is happy and enjoys having folks eat there
-cool atmosphere whether you’re inside or outside
A must try as far as well executed, delicious dishes are concerned. A fair warning for all would be diners --this is NOT a place for any conversation because it is the hands down, nosiest Michelin restaurant you will ever experience. Ear plugs highly recommended. Just focus on the food and you'll be alright :)
Dining here for our Anniversary, we had a splendid meal. Our dishes and cocktails were splendidly prepared.
It was my wife’s birthday, and we celebrated with our good friends who were visiting from London.
Everything was perfect! They treated us extremely well, and the food was superb!
It was not our first time dining at Meadowsweet, and it certainly won’t be our last!
Food was incredible and service was excellent. It was quite noisy and hard to hear our server though.
It was all perfect
Went for Saturday brunch with a kid and a friend. The waitstaff was fantastic--very kind, attentive, helpful. And the food was all amazing. Probably the best tamale I've ever had. The duck hash also blew me away. I love the chance to eat brunch dishes that I would probably never make at home and Meadowsweet delivered.
Amazing food and drinks, really nice staff. Perfect brunch spot!
Great food and service! Highly recommended. My wife and I had dined here in 2015 when they first opened and hadn’t been back since. We may have found our new favorite neighborhood place (RIP Delaware & Hudson).
Great under every aspect
This restaurant is amazing. Both brunch and dinner are excellent. I recommend the empress cocktail to enjoy with any of your meals. I am always so impressed by the service and ambiance. 10/10 would recommend
Tasting menu was a great value! Highly recommend the artichoke and arugula. Great cocktails as well.
Had an amazing dinner at Meadowsweet, great textures and bold flavors, everything was prepared perfectly. Would highly recommend, can’t wait to try their brunch.
Every time I feel like there's no way they could impress me more than my last visit... and then they do!! LOVE THIS PLACE!!
Father/son get together.
A gracious event all around; I wanted my son to love it, and he did. Best grilled octopus I’ve ever had world-wide, my son loved the chicken and my wagyu beef was perfect. Cocktails and wine both very good.
It marries a Williamsburg artsiness with very fresh food and a sophisticated kitchen.
The service was subpar and the establishment seemed to not have AC. It was not an enjoyable experience as it was sweltering inside the restaurant.
Every dish was delicious. Between the 4 of us we had 6 appetizers, 2 mains and 3 desserts. Not one complaint.
Bartender had a bit of an attitude problem, but experience was otherwise fantastic (food was incredible). Highly recommend
