We’ve been going to McCray’s for over 10 years, and every so often, they seem to hit a rough patch. Unfortunately, they’re in one again. Despite having an OpenTable reservation, the restaurant being nearly empty, and explaining we were there for an expected school fundraiser, the server refused our request for indoor seating. The food was equally disappointing. The Caesar salad, usually a favorite, was inedible, and we didn’t even want our leftovers. I’ll be exploring other restaurants while McCray’s finds its groove again.

My family of (4) wanted to take Dad out for Father’s Day and needed a location not too far from home, free parking, & open later than most restaurants. My daughter had to work so we were expecting to eat around 7:30-8pm. McCray’s was the perfect choice! We set reservations for 8:30 but arrived much earlier and was seated immediately. The location was a discovery for us. I have passed this area many times but had no idea the area had so much to offer, looking forward to returning soon. We ordered an appetizer, our selection was the Nachos w/o meat…soooo good!!! All (4) of us really enjoyed our meal. The service was great and the vibe was perfect for us to enjoy talking and laughing together as a family which is a rare opportunity for us b/c we’re working hard to provide these days. The entire family enjoyed our leftovers the next day and continued to talk about what a time we had.

We didn’t do the kids buffet, it was a little nuts. Kids did get half off their entree which was nice.

Service and food were great. Appreciate the host seating us before our reservation time. Server did a great job and the food was really good. Mother's Day buffets are all expensive, and this was no exception, but I was thankful it checked all the boxes.

It was Mothers day brunch! I feel like for the price of the food it should have been more variety . Salmon was not cooked all the way. The quality of the food was just ok no frill. The price was over price for what was served it was 3 adults a 1 kid we paid $200. I just expected more for the price. The omelet was horrible it look like it was powered or box eggs(not fresh eggs )and the vegetables were definitely under cooked. I saw several omelet ordered and none were eaten.

Everything and everyone was professional and friendly. The food was exceptional and no wait time when food items were running out. All fresh and well cooked. Our waitress was so courteous, friendly, consistent and attentive with assuring we were all good with every aspect of the food and drinks. I will absolutely return and recommend to my friends,

I made a reservation for 1 for Easter brunch with standard seating only to be told by the hostess upon arrival that because I was ONLY a party of one and they were expecting larger parties with reservations, I needed to sit at a high top by the bar. Don't discriminate against people who wish to dine alone. Especially when there were less than 10 parties seated and more than half of your restaurant was empty. More importantly, I had a reservation. The whole experience really changed my view of your restaurant and I will never recommend it to anyone who asks my opinion.
