On the main road from York to York Haven, and on the Conewago Creek near the point where the creek meets the Susquehanna River, the Conewago Inn has offered fine dining and friendly service for decades. Revolutionary War statesmen the Marquis de Lafayette in 1825 and author Charles Dickens in 1842 were among those who passed within yards of where you sit today. Prior to and during the American Civil War, slaves escaping from the south were hidden in what is now the basement of the Inn as well as in a barn which stood across the road.

In later years, a trolley line brought visitors by the hundreds to Elm Beach Park, a stone’s throw away from the Conewago Inn. The main log building dates to 1860. The building served as a farm house until the early 1920’s when it became an Inn named for the creek that flows nearby. Briefly named the Creekside Inn, the restaurant and tavern has since been known as the Conewago Inn. Enjoy your visit with us and let our family take care of your family!

El Rodeo is family-owned and operated. Our first restaurant was established in 1992 by the Arellano Family. Our Harrisburg location was the first restaurant to introduce real, authentic Mexican food in the area. Our menu features specialties, including sizzling fajitas, hand-made tamales, enchiladas and tacos as well as combination platters. Salads and soups are also available. We also offer a wide selection of margaritas, in addition to a complete list of beers and cocktails. We are located northeast of Park City Center in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. We are also near Franklin & Marshall College and Overlook Park. Order online for carryout or delivery!

Our beer is brewed onsite using solar-powered energy. We also have PA wine and spirits, frozen drinks, guest beer, seltzers, sours and more. Be sure to ask about our specials, happy hour features and Sunday Brunch menu. We have LIVE MUSIC every Friday and Saturday, plenty of table seating, one of the largest wrap around bars in the area and an outdoor patio (open in season).

Owner Felicia Wilson and Chef Partner Darryl Harmon, who hails from Gouldstown, NJ in Cumberland County, which is considered the oldest black community in the U.S., is an award-winning chef for The Lure Group in New York City. He previously served as the Executive Chef at the Water Works Restaurant in Philadelphia between 2007 and 2012.

In the 2021 statewide Breweries in PA Readers’ Choice Awards, Wolf Brewing Co. was awarded 3rd Place in the Best Beer Garden category, 2nd Place in the Best Taproom category, 3rd Place in the Best New Brewery category and 3rd Place in the Best Food category. Our distinctive food menu utilizes the finest and freshest local ingredients - inspired by the changing seasons and driven by the imaginations of our culinary team. Our dishes and sauces are made from scratch - and most of our meats, cheeses and produce are sourced from local farms. All of our beers that are brewed on-site are unfiltered and gluten reduced to less than 20 PPM (parts per million).
