I live in Detroit. On my list of top 5 of dining destinations in the city. Period.

We love Selden Standard, and one of our favorite restaurants in rotation. As soon as I see the agnolotti on the menu I am sure to come in!

Loved it! It was our first time visiting and we will be back! The fritto, ravioli, beef shank pasta, and chocolate dessert were amazing. My only wish is that had more cocktails on the menu. The service was great and the sourdough starter was the cherry to start the evening.

I thoroughly enjoyed the twice-cooked egg with brussels and warm vinegarette, my goodness! The mushroom risotto was *chef's kiss and my cocktail was top-notch. I enjoyed my meal so much that I made another reservation while sitting at the table. The olive oil cake description and the dessert itself looked good but it lacked flavor. The server suggested the pudding and I should have listened. Other than that, the food and service were outstanding!

Visited this past weekend from Chicago and made a reservation as it was suggested from a family member. Being from Chicago, I have very high expectations but let me tell you, Bakersfield did not disappoint! I have to say they have some of the best tacos I’ve ever had! Amazing flavors and very reasonably priced. And the service was spot on….our server, Cherie, was exceptional! We had a 3-yr old with us and she ensured he had everything he needed just as much as the adults. She was attentive, timely on checking back in on us and very friendly. All around a great experience and can’t wait to come back! Thank you Cherie and Bakersfield for a great visit. Cheers!
