We always eat at Higgins when we visit Portland and it never disappoints.

I was celebrating my divorce with my son who has been a tremendous supporter. Our waiter, William, was fantastic. He explained the menu perfectly and had a great sense of humor. I look forward to returning and enjoying a very special dining experience.

My family of 5 came to Portland City Grill to celebrate, among other milestone events, the belated birthdays of two members of our family. For my husband and I this was the second visit; it was the first time for the other three individuals. Everyone had a wonderful evening, the "newbies" thought like my husband and I do, the food was excellent. A manager came and spoke with us personally after being made aware of the birthdays being celebrated. Our server, as I am sure all of the servers here are, was very attentive and extremely helpful especially for one of the birthday celebrants who was asking a lot of questions regarding cocktail recommendations and asking about some of the dishes on the menu. In addition to the desserts provided to the two young women whose "belated birthday celebration dinner" this event was, my husband and I opted to purchase an additional dessert to share which was equally delicious! Very clean, well kept environment, and the arrangement of food on plates, even appetizers arranged on their unique platters, absolutely top notch arrangements! Very much worth the price I have paid on both occasions, and we look forward to returning again!
