I recently had the pleasure of visiting Crossroads for my two year anniversary with my girlfriend and was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and the very friendly staff. Our server was amazing and friendly, she was very knowledgeable and came readily equipped with many suggestions. I had the escargot as an app and scallops as my main and both were cooked to perfection and complimented perfectly with the other components in the respective dishes. My girlfriend had spring rolls, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and still had a crunchy vegetable filling, and came with a sweet chili thai sauce that added a lovely touch of spice. These were excellent and came served on a bed of garden salad that the left over dipping sauce was a great dressing for. For her main she got the ravioli which definitely could have used some more sauce, which was to die for, but was still very delectable. However, dessert really took the cake… no pun intended. We got carrot cake, and a panna cotta (sweetened cream Italian dessert), both were spectacular but the panna cotta really surprised me. Topped with a layer of rich blueberry sauce, and served with a complimentary shortbread cookie along with fresh strawberries and blueberries, this dessert is a no brainer. We also each had a cocktail off the summer menu, to my tequila lovers, get the strawberry fields, such a great drink. All together it came to a little over 200 before the tip, definitely on the more expensive side for a date night, but the atmosphere, food quality, and service, made it all worthwhile. Will definitely be returning in the summer to dine out on the patio which looked lovely, unfortunately the weather was on the colder side but the patio is definitely a great option. 11/10 spot in Muskoka

We had an excellent dining experience at Windows Restaurant. The steak was cooked to perfection—tender, juicy, and full of flavor. The fries were crispy and delicious, easily some of the best we’ve had. The side vegetables were fresh, sweet, and complemented the meal beautifully. Everything was well-balanced and thoughtfully prepared. Highly recommend!

Service was impeccable. Beautiful day rain held off. We were not rushed and able to enjoy our dinner. The appetizer of foraged mushrooms was delicious. The salad presentation was living art but less on the hummus. The table also loved the halibut and trout but felt crab risotto was too rich. Service was well-timed and accommodating, mocktails and dessert were top notch.

Both me and my husband really enjoyed our dishes we ordered at the chophouse. At first we were hesitant as we do not eat beef steaks but they had other options. I ordered the chicken dish and my husband ordered the cod , the special for the day. Both dishes were great. Would definitely come back to the chophouse. An excellent venue for date night. The food and service were exceptional. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone who is in the area. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Bravo.
