Set in the picturesque village of Abbots Ripton with access to beautiful walks on the local estate, The Elm has everything you want from your perfect countryside pub; A glorious garden, a roaring fire, comfortable rooms, delicious food and a wide selection of drinks.The Grade II-listed building was built, as an open hall, in the late 15th Century to offer hospitality to the drovers bringing cattle down from Scotland (along the Bullock Road) to the market at St.Ives. It was later altered with the insertion of a brick chimney in the early 17th century. The Fellowes family, that own and run the pub, came to the area around the same time the pub got its chimney...

We have visited a few times and its always great food and service. The place is lovely to. I would highly recommend to anyone. It gets busy and this time of year its to be expected to be a bit lounder or as I like to think more atmospheric. Look forward to visiting again soon.

Lovely evening, beautiful Christmas atmosphere, nice food and caring staff. We got to know Desi and she is a lovely person and asset to your restaurant.

The food was very nice and the staff were very friendly. One small thing is that I feel the drinks should be included in the price as we had quite a bit of credit left over that we didn't spend as we couldn't eat any more but still had to pay quite a lot for our drinks
