    What a little gem this place is. Never even thought of Yemeni cuisine before and by chance it appeared in my media feed. Read the reviews and decided to have a go......not disappointed. Lovely meze starters with bread and the house special of lamb stew 🍲. Service was great with really attentive friendly staff. Enjoyed it immensely and hope to return again 😋

    Found this Italian by chance and glad I did. The food was lovely and great value - they do a set two or three course menu with plenty of choices. All the staff were helpful and happy to help with any questions. Would def recommend this place if you are in York and would recommend booking as it was busy with people coming and going all the time. Also I loved the way the staff clearly pointed out the service charge and said we didn’t have to pay if we didn’t feel we should (we did pay as service was great!)

    What a find! Tiny bar but just so amazing. Wines are phenomenal. Different to the average choice so you might not recognise brands but well selected to suit every taste. We opted for a sharing charcuterie platter too. This was the best platter we’ve ever had. Very generous portion size and outstanding selection of meats, cheeses and accompaniments. All put together by a wonderful waitress, Summer. Would we go back? Without a doubt.
