Taking inspiration from the term Rumba, which was introduced in Spain in the early 20th century as rumba flamenco, the restaurant’s dishes flirt, tease and sway on the palate. The flavors are inspired by countries that surround the Mediterranean Sea. Guests can then expect a wide menu comprised of Spanish, Italian, Greek, and a bit of French influences. Rumba focuses on a cooking method using a charcoal oven which infuses smoky flavors into the chef’s specialty dishes.The restaurant was designed to match the rhythm of the dishes, with a rich patchwork of textures ranging from white floral blooms adorning the walls, to a riveted wood ceiling, and wicker furniture accents in colors that carry the characteristics of the Mediterranean landscape.     I booked a reservation today, May 19, 2025, to celebrate my parents’ 43rd anniversary. I had emailed the Okada reservations team to kindly assist my parents and secure a table with easy access to the buffet. My parents told me they had a wonderful time — the staff warmly greeted them and gave them a great spot near the buffet. They were even surprised with a complimentary greeting cake. Thank you, Medley, for such a thoughtful gesture. It truly made the celebration memorable for my parents, and they will never forget it.

    It was Easter Sunday so the place was full, hence the noise. Food came out within the time they gave. Bill out took longer than usual. It also took awhile for the waiter to bring the card terminal to our table. We saw the staff giving out goodies to children but they skipped giving our child a goodie. 😢 Food was great. Italiani’s will always be one of our family’s favorite Italian resto.

    Dining at Rumba's in Makati has been the best restaurant experience I've ever had. The waitress and host were amazing from the moment we entered until we left. I truly enjoyed both the food and the service. I will definitely return!
